PROLOGUE

Buong highschool life akong nanatiling tahimik. I chose this kind of appearance, kahit alam kong may mukha akong ipapakita. I decided to be a nerd for I was too scared to get known by everyone. I'm an anti-social so I really hate getting other people's attention.

My life is very simple. I read books. I always spend time on libraries. I only have one bestfriend. Lastly, the only family member left is me and my older brother. Nothing much interesting.

Akala ko ay makakapagtapos ako na walang may nakakapansin sa akin. But everything went upside down when I encountered the notorious playboy at our campus!

"Fuck, you stay there!" rinig kong sigaw niya sa'kin dahilan na mas napabilis ang lakad ko ngunit nabitawan ko naman ang aking hawak na libro. Ang malas!

Napatingin ako sakaniya na papalapit na sa'kin. Dali-dali ko namang kinuha yung libro ko at kumaripas ng takbo.

Rinig na rinig ko ang sigaw niya kahit malayo na. "Damn you nerd! I swear pagsisihan mo ang ginawa mong panggugulo sa hapon ko!"

Everything went normal after that...

But not until I messed up with him and he messed me up.

In the following day, he purposely became my seatmate.

“Fuck, may ipis sa ulo mo panget.”

I didn't have the time to think straight. Nataranta ako at napatili ng sobra. Ngunit sa hindi inaasahang pagkakataon. My skirt ripped. Dahilan na tumahimik ang buong kaklase na'min.

And because of embarrassment tumakbo ako sa papuntang locker habang punit iyong palda ko. Lagyan ba naman niya ng shoe glue iyong upuan ko. He really did everything on purpose just to take revenge on me!

Sa tanang buhay ko ngayon lang ito nangyari. Tumakbo ako patungo sa locker ko. They're all looking at me like I'm the most disgusting creature in the world.

I timidly get my P.E uniform in my locker. "Ops may tumangka pa atang magrape kay nerd." natatawang asar ng mga tao sa paligid.

“Are you trying to seduce us with your ripped skirt, nerdy-pants?” rinig kong asar ng mga kalalakihan.

Yumuko ako, this is too much. Hindi mo nalang pinansin ang pang-aasar nila. Padabog kong isinara ang locker ko at tumakbo na sa CR.

And by that we became enemies. Akala ko ay hanggang doon na lang iyon but then again, humantong ang araw na hindi ko inaakalang mangyayari sa buhay ko.

We just got home from the cemetery. Binisita kasi na'min iyong puntod ng mga magulang na'min. Kaming dalawa na lamang ni Kuya ang magkaagapay. And it was like a spur of moment. He explained everything to me.

“Ipapakasal kita,” muntikan ko nang maibuga iyong iniinom kong juice.

Nilunok ko muna iyong bago nagsalita. “P-po?”

“Ipapakasal kita sa apo ng matalik na kaibigan ni Lolo.”

“ANO?” tumaas iyong boses ko sa gulat.

“You're getting married and his name is Dm Luzuriaga.”

Oh shucks! Si Dm Luzuriaga?! I'm dead.
