Chapter 39: Murder disguised as suicide
Chris' pov
Its Saturday, and I was just browsing the web when suddenly someone called.
I answered the phone and guess who called?
It's Detective Cross!
/"Chris? I need you in solving a case"/ sabi niya.
/"What kind of case?"/
/"It looks like a suicide but I think it's a murder, I need you here coz aalis din agad ako. May emergency din kasi. But don't worry, Inspector Montir is here"/
/"Okay, just text me the address"/ at saka ibinaba ko na ang tawag.
Hmmm... I am not the only detective here anymore, so I'll ask Ian and Avie to come along with me.
Tinawagan ko si Ian para sabihan siya na sumama sa akin sa pagsolve ng case, pero hindi raw siya makakasama dahil nilalagnat siya.
Tsk! So si Avie na lang ang pwede kong isama.
Tinawagan ko din siya at sinagot naman niya ito. /"What? Do you need something?"/
Tsk! Ang aga aga tapos tinatarayan niya ako?
/"Sorry to bother. I just wanted you to come with me to solve a case but it looks like you're not interested. So nevermind"/ Then, I immediately ended the call. Tsk. I know that she loves solving cases so, I know she'll definitely call back in...

*Phone rings*
Aha! I knew it.
I answered the call.
/"What case? I want to come! At natawagan mo na ba si Ian?"/ tanong niya.
/"I called him already and he said he can't come because he's sick"/
/"Oh right, he is sick. Tsk..hindi din kasi siya nag-iingat! Anyway, where should we meet? Andito kasi ako sa bahay"/
/"Let's meet at shrine cafe. That cafe is not far from your place right? Let's meet there, anyway the crime is also not that far from your place"/ sabi ko. Then I immediately ended the call at saka naghanda na rin.
2 hours yata ang byahe kaya kailangan kong magmadali.
I'm gonna use my car.
I was about to start my car when my phone suddenly rang.
Si Neo tumatawag, so I answered the phone.
/"Chris? I heard that my sister is coming with you to solve a case. Bantayan mo siyang maigi ha? Her life is also in danger kapag nasa labas. Somebody is hunting us because of our father. Bantayan mo siya ah! Or else... papatayin ako ni kuya Arvin!"/
"Sure" sabi ko then parang may umagaw ng phone niya.
/"I trust you Chris. Your my brother's friend and I know you. Bantayan mo siya. And I want to talk to you and your whole gang. May sasabihin ako sa inyo about the blue drugs"/ sabi ni kuya Arvin.
Kumunot naman ang noo ko dahil sa sinabi niya.
Before I ended the call, I told him that after masolve ang case, pupunta ako sa bahay nila.
Damn it! Sino ba talaga ang may pakana ng drugs na yun?! Geez! Those drugs will make people think that they are powerful than God!
I started the engine and started to drive. I want to finish the case already coz I want to know already what Kuya Arvin found out.
