Management says to leave a warning, so here it is for those of you who have suffered sexual abuse and don't want to be reminded. And another reminder that the cat does not count as a towel though he is fluffy and floats above the sink in the men's bathroom. Thank you.

I carried a black cat in my arms as I came back from the art studio that Stolas runs. The cat was a thin floating stray with a sweet attitude, tentacles instead of back legs, and bright red eyes who desperately needed to be fed. I picked up some cat food for the cat on my way home and teleported the rest of the way.

"Hmmmm, you need a name..." I mused as he weaved back and forth around my shoulders. I poured him a bowl of cat food as he rubbed against my cheek.

I watched him eat before deciding to call him Khoshekh, like Cecil's floating cat in Night Vale. His meow isn't as...demonic though.

Angel raced inside, calling my name as he tried to figure out where in the house I was. I teleported to his side, barely even startling him.

"What's wrong, dear?" I asked as he started to try to figure out how to word what he was gonna tell me.

"Calypso got hurt and won't tell us what happened, so we're gonna try to see if Charlie can get any information out of her so we can go destroy the bastard who hurt her." Angel explained. I nodded in understanding, whistling. Khoshekh appeared next to my shoulder with his claws in my jacket. I grabbed Angel and teleported us to the hotel. Jeff's truck pulled up a few moments later and we all went inside.

"Charlie, my charming demon belle! We have a favor to ask." I greeted the blonde.

"Okay, Al, what is it?" Charlie asked.

"We need you to help Calypso express what happened to her today because she got hurt at school and apparently won't tell anyone anything. We want to kill the person who hurt the kid." I explained as Charlie reached up and scratched my cat behind the ears.

"So...a therapy session?" Charlie simplified. I nodded.

"Exactly that. Good job, my dear." I laughed merrily as Charlie gently took Calypso's hand and lead her upstairs and into the room where Angel and I used to live. Jeff followed, clutching his own arms with worry. I petted Khoshekh after sitting down on the couch in full view of Husk. Husk stared at me enviously as I stroked the demon cat's fur, their amber eyes full of longing.

"Aw, do you want to be petted too, Husk?" I teased.

"Fuck off." Husk grumbled.

"I would be happy to pet you too. You know that right?" I asked. Husk growled to themselves under their breath as they contemplated the idea. They eventually made up their mind and slunk up to me, sinking onto the couch in a catlike position with their tail curled around their paws. I happily petted the cat demon as well as the demon cat, both of which purred to my great delight.

Jeff glided down the stairs. "Um, Alastor, can you come in here with your cat?" He asked, biting his claws. I stood up and grabbed Khoshekh before striding up the stairs after the anxious fallen angel. He lead me into my old apartment and into my old kitchen.

"Bear with me here, but I need a hug." Jeff said, biting his lips as his breathing sped up again.

I gently pulled the slightly shorter demon into my arms, hugging him like his life depended on it. Jeff sagged onto me, tears in his eyes as he wrapped his arms comfortably around my neck. Khoshekh floated around our shoulders.

"It will all be just fine, Jeff, trust me. Charlie knows what she's doing." I reassured him after he pulled away. "Go ahead and pet Khoshekh, he doesn't bite much. I'm gonna do my thing." I said, noting that Calypso was trembling. Jeff took the cat and I slipped further out of view of the little girl, shapeshifting into a reddish brown deer.

Conveniently, my antlers had just fallen out for the year, so they were just little stubs on top of my head. She wouldn't get hurt.

I slowly came back into view as the deer, approaching Charlie and Calypso. Charlie gasped with wonder.

"Hello there, sir." She crooned, holding out a hand to scratch my neck. I huffed in greeting, pressing my nose to her hand and allowing her to scratch my neck a little before I raised my head to look at Calypso. I plodded over to her slowly so she wouldn't get scared because I was a rather big deer this time. She held her breath as I carefully laid on the ground next to her, nosing her hands before settling my head on her thigh. She sniffled.

I felt the tentative hand make contact with my furry neck and I huffed slightly and started to release some calmness into my aura to get her to calm down.

"What happened, Calypso?" Charlie asked gently.

"A man...a man with light skin and white eyes..." Calypso started nervously. "He started touching me...he was naked...he tried to take my clothes off...and...and he...succeeded...he...put something in my privates...and started moving it in and...and...and out...it hurt..." Calypso's hand started to tremble again and she started to pet me quickly to hide it. "When I...when I told him, told him to stop...he yelled at me...and started to beat...beat me..."

She was raped and beaten? I thought angrily. I refused to show anger because I was trying to be a calming influence for Jeff's daughter. My eyes met Jeff's and I could see that Jeff's anger was boiling over. Charlie's cheerful demeanor had fully wilted and she was making a soft growling noise as her horns started to appear on her head.

"Are you mad at me?" Calypso asked.

"No, no, sweetheart, I'm mad at the man who did this to you." Charlie reassured Calypso.
