It was the next day and there was another victim found, the victim was a woman this time and Crystal sighed as she looked at the board. "He's all over the place with his victims."
Rossi nodded, "They might just be victims of opportunity after all," Crystal nodded and looked around the room before clearing her throat, "Everything okay?" Crystal whispered and Rossi smiled, "No, I'm trying to not think about it."
Crystal nodded before looking back at the board, Crystal felt her phone buzz. She took out her phone to see she had a missed call from Jason, she looked at Rossi. "Be right back."
Crystal stepped out of the room and called Jason, "Hey Jace, did you need something?"
"H-hi?"
"Amy?" Crystal frowned and looked at her phone, she made sure she called Jason and sure enough she did. "Why do you have Jason's phone?"
"Oh crud, I grabbed his instead."
"What?"
"Sorry I called you by accident."
"That doesn't answer my question...why do you have my brother's phone?" Crystal asked suspiciously and she heard Amy clear her throat.
"That's none of your business."
"Amy." Crystal stated firmly and Amy sighed, she heard shuffling on the other end.
"Hi Chris."
"Hello Jason, what a nice morning you must be having?"
"Stop."
"No." Crystal replied and Jason laughed on the other end, Crystal smiled at this as she heard Amy in the background mumbling about how 'This isn't funny'.
"So...me and Amy, we've been, well-"
"We've been seeing each other, going on dates, and having sex!"
Crystal's eyes widen at Amy's words, she heard Jason sighing and Crystal cleared her throat. "Well okay then."
"Don't tell mom."
"Do I sound like Nick?"
"No, but you can't say anything."
"I won't." Crystal promised, "But can I ask when and how this happened?"
"Around 3 months now, sort of just happened."
"Cool, let me know when you guys get official so I can run from mom before she questions me if I knew." Crystal shrugged and Jason chuckled on the other end.
"You're not going to judge me because I'm seeing someone who's 6 years younger than me?"
"I don't know if you've realized this, but I can't exactly judge with my situation." Crystal said amusingly, she glanced over at Hotch as he made his coffee with his back turned to her.
I'm crushing on a man who's 11 years older, who am I to judge?
Crystal heard Jason chuckle, she sighed. "As much as I would love to keep talking, I've got a case."
