One day at a time.

It's what I told myself before 2020 ended. I experienced internal hardships last year more than I did most of my life. It's mostly because I was always looking at the horizon and never at where I am. I get disappointed. I get angry. I get impatient.

I don't want that to happen.

So I told myself that this year, I will write one day at a time. I told myself to be creative, one day at a time. Do things one day at a time.

Perhaps it will solve everything. Perhaps it will not. Perhaps, I will find something deeper in myself. Maybe, I will finally find my identity as an artist and as a writer and a poet.

Maybe. Maybe not.

So, welcome to this one-poem-a-day challenge that I set upon myself this year. Come along with me as I write short and long poems with no theme in mind. This is a whole-year challenge and I'm writing this on the first of January so I really don't know what kind of stuff will come out of my brain.

Sit back, enjoy, and take a dive into my creatively chaotic mind as we take this year one day at a time.

Together, let's live.

One day at a time.
