A blush in guise of a smile crept along my lips,

When I noticed a smirk by yours.

You knew,

I had been head over heels,

Spell of your magic,

Binding me to you.

A question, "Yes?" escaped you,

With a mildly decent put on arrogance,

A trial to stash away

The twinkle in your eyes,

The smile of your cognisance.

You knew,

What you did to men.

How could I answer a "Yes?"

I had just met you and

I had fallen for you.

I wanted to know you,

To love you more.

I wanted to touch your soul,

To live the ephemeral truth of your being.

In urgency, I opened my mouth,

To word some unexceptional reason.

But, a guy came to you and said, "Hi!"

And you beamed.

Dazzling like the stars shining

In a clear night sky.

Your cheek reds turned darker and you smiled.

You looked at peace,

Yet with thunders inside.

You looked happy,

Yet some unrealised pain knocking,

The door to actualisation.

And then it struck me,

You were in love too,

Just that,

It was that guy,

Not me, Obviously!
