My side of the story

The day was gloomy, when I waited for you.

My heart cheered when I saw you,

The first time you showed up after days so long.

You were tall, with a bag

And when light gleamed your naive face,

Spirits went free and the dove inside plummeting away,

No more peace to my quiet soul,

Things circumventing around you,

Feel my only.

A question arose again-

WHY ME? Is it really true?

No can not be.

I am not even worth your sweat and breath.

The love treasured in my heart never yearned to surface again,

But when in the morn I had met you,

And couldn't stop pacifying,

My impulsive beat with the hug.

My life still stands there in that drench of love thirst

When I felt your beat with mine.

Though you remember things with malaise

But still I can't stop telling because that moment was my life.

I lived me when I hugged you,

The time I had everything in the world,

But still stupid me never knew that all I wanted,

Was you from ever and forever.

I wasn't a girl to leave responsibilities,

To go against all.

Though I repelled, kept myself pulling off from you

So that, I don't cross my edges to fall for you,

But the very definition of edges to me

Really pulled me together to fall for you.

It was just that day when we felt the blue of the lake,

With you on my boat,

The girl in me blushed away.

You never knew that was when I gave you my heart

And everything I stand for,

The feminist I am,

The daughter I want to be,

The respect I want to own

Even every bit of me..

May be you don't remember

Or you don't want to,

But for a while see to this,

My side of the story.

Forget yours and soak yourself in mine,

Feeling this vibe am still in that one moment, that hug.

My life still stands there in that drench of love thirst when,

I gave you my heart!
