Once again

The darkness fills me up now,

Like light filled me in the embrace of past,

When I knew you.

Now, it's just memories,

Fading into the light of eternity.

Those were times, I knew,

I was happy.

Those were times, I felt,

Alive, with you....

Smiling was easy,

Flawless and reality.

Friendship was life,

A boat to sail through these dark waters.

Love was easy,

True and tangible.

You were the only,

You were my mirror,

Reflecting me,

Transparent through my eyes,

Opaque through my stumbling.

But then life touched us with it's thunders,

And we chose different highways.

I am now sailing through those dark waters again,

Thinking how far you have fared,

Tears glistening my memoirs,

From time, unreal.

Wishing you well,

Upon a lonely star.

I don't know where I may go,

I don't know where I will reach,

I just hope,

Someday this darkness will end in light,

And I will find you again,

In future of darkness.

In that light,

Where I will know all.

In that future,

Where you will stay,

There lies my heart,

There lies my yearn

Of savouring life with you,

Once again.

Of living life with you,

Once again.
