I broke a feather today,
They say I can't fly again.
Yearns held the sky always,
But still, I cajole myself saying I didn't die.
I have just broken a feather,
My spirits are still high.
I have just lost my flight,
Not the will to fly.
So, with my legs, I will shoot,
With my hands, I will flap.
I may lose out in the race,
But I will survive.
And maybe eventually win,
'Cause I will persist.
