Drenching in your Miseries

Walking into the air,

You just walked through.

Carrying your scent,

Still afresh,

Still raw,

Still dolour.

I just wave through,

And leave behind us,

You and me,

Happy us,

Your fragrance merged with my smiles,

So that even the air becomes happy forever.

Your tears falling,

Fall into my palms,

Carrying your suffering.

Still warm,

But so cold,

Still sad.

I kiss it,

And now it can become happy tears,

Of intense love,

My love for you.

So that from now,

Your tears well up only when you are happy.

Your eyes closed,

Dreaming of the impossible,

Dreaming of your unattainable purposes.

Entailing your discontent.

Still closed,

Still dreaming,

Still sad,

My tears fall upon them,

Cause I can't alter your dreams.

I try,

To become your shadow,

To become your wings,

But,

It's too much even for me,

It's too much for anybody.

I see you losing at every nook,

Falling at every step,

Still trying to walk,

When your legs tremble.

But, I am now,

Drenching in your miseries,

Losing to your sad realities.

Have become helpless,

Dying to make it alright,

But I am failing outright.
