I built a wall,
To protect myself.
I ran away,
To not fall again.
I hated,
So I don't have to
Suffer the love ache.
I don't laugh,
So that when tears come,
I am ready for them.
I make no friends,
So that they don't hurt me.
I don't enjoy life,
'Cause agony is just around the corner.
But even then,
Even after restraining myself,
I am not living.
Maybe,
I needn't break the wall,
Just make a small window,
For life to come in.
