Woes of living, you face,
Clenches my heart strong.
All the sacrifices you have made,
And all those things that for you, went wrong.
I wish I could delete it all,
If I had a button or just one phone call,
To the supreme, who sits above us all, they say,
I would ask him to remove all thorns from your way.
I would tend to your wounds,
And care for you like you did,
When I am older, When I was small,
And in your arms you held me, your kid.
Just your voice,
Would sooth my pains,
And your touch made me feel alive,
Like water in the desert, as it rains.
Ma! you are my heroine,
My first love and my idol.
Ma! You are my saviour,
My only religion & my only god.
I wish, I could take your pains away,
And make sunshine for you, forever stay.
I wish, I could just be able enough,
To fix all your problems, smoothen your life, rough.
If nothing is that, I can do,
If nothing is that, I can alter,
I will be what you want me to be,
And curb my insanities, for your tears to halter.
