It had been two hours since I got into my bed, but I couldn't sleep. I tried everything. I even counted sheep but then I started getting bored so I started counting dogs. Still didn't work. So I decided to text Chris
You : Hey ! You awake ?
Chris ✨ : Yeah. Everything alright ?
You : I can't sleep. Wanna do something ?
Chris ✨ : Sure ? But what ?
You : Just be ready I'll pick you up in 5 xx
Shit I just virtually hugged him ?
Chris ✨ : Okay xx :)
I got out of bed and put on some decent clothes.

I drove to Chris's house and noticed him already waiting for me. I stop the car and motion him to get in.
" Hey" I say smiling.
" Hey. So where are we going ? Are you kidnapping me ?" he asks raising his eyebrows.
" What ?! No" I say laughing. " It's a really nice place. You'll see" I say driving.
" Mind if I play some music ?" I ask
" Your car. Your rules" he says smiling and I just shake my head. I connect my phone and play Perfect by Ed Sheeran.
" Nice choice" Chris says
" Thanks" I say blushing. Wait why are you blushing Erin ?! What the hell ? Calm down !
We drive in a comfortable silence occasionally making small talk. We were almost out of the town when I stopped my car.
" Come on" I say getting out.
We walk a little and I stop when we reach a cliff overlooking the town. I turn around and see Chris's eyes widen.
" So ?" I ask
" This is so beautiful. Why didn't I ever know about this ?" He asks
" Because this is my place. My little space" I say
" So how come I'm here ?" He asks. I look down at my feet.
Why is he here ? What do I tell him ? He's special. I know but should I tell him ?
" You're my best friend Chris. You were by my side when I broke down. And if I wanted to share this place with anyone- It's you." I say
I look up to see him softly smiling at me. We both lock our eyes, I felt a sense of peace in his blue eyes.
" Thank you" he says. I open my arms and hug him tightly. I smile when I feel him do the same.
" I have something else too" I say
" What's better than this ?" he asks
" Well if you don't want to have some Pizza and beer than I might have to eat all of it alone" I say smirking.
" Oh hell no" he says sprinting towards the edge and sitting down. He quickly opens a box of Pizza and starts eating. I laugh and sit beside him, handing him a beer. We both laugh and talk for hours.
" You know sometimes I think if I wasted my time showering love on the wrong person" I say
He stops and turns towards me. He holds my hand.
" Every love cannot be right. This is why god has given us the ability to love endlessly and unlimitedly. So that even if we waste some of it on the wrong person, there's still enough left for the right person" he says smiling.
" But what if I don't realize who is the right person ?"
" Just look them in the eye. If you can see your future flash before your eyes, then hold on to them. And never let go. There will be fights and arguments but if you still see a future with them then they are the right person" he says looking towards the already asleep town.
" What if I tell you who it is ?" I ask
# Chris's POV #
" What if I tell you who it is ?"
My heart sinks at her question. But I had promised to stand by her no matter what. So I cannot back out now.
" If you want to" I say
" There's this certain man with a pair of insanely beautiful blue eyes, he is really oblivious of my feelings. He is a dork but I still like him anyways. Oh and he plays Captain America"
My jaw drops as I look at her. She looks at me and smiles. She scoots closer and instinctively I wrap my arm around her shoulder.
" So ? Is the man still oblivious ?" she asks looking up at me.
Without even saying a word I lean closer and kiss her deeply. I smile as I feel her arms wrap around my neck. We pull apart and I rest my forehead on hers.
" I like you too Erin" I say. She smiles and rests her head on my shoulder as we continue looking over the town.
" So what about dinner tomorrow ? at 7 ?" I ask
" I wouldn't want anything else" she beams.
# 3rd Person POV #
Little did the two of them know that both of them had seen a beautiful future flash in front of their eyes. That night they promised themselves to never let go of each other no matter what comes their way. They needed each other more than they were showing.
Meeting each other was fate. But falling in love ? It just happened. And they were glad it did.
