Jimin gathered his snorkel and diving mask, he intended to go swimming in the bay. He thought the mermen might like it. Plus he would get to see the coral reef he knew was located in the shelter of the bay.
He pulled the heavy backpack over his shoulder, he left Latte in the house. Curled up on the sunken in armchair. The cat had had a distressing day yesterday so Jimin left him to relax.
He closed the now fixed front door behind him, although it had no lock still. It didn't matter though, no one else lived on the island besides him. He owned the island anyhow. His Grandfather had bought it with the money he had saved up, Jimin contributed some of the income he had received working as an idol to help him. So now he officially owned the island, he might retire here in the future like his Grandfather had.

Jimin made his way into the bay after the 15 minute walk. He walked into the shallow water, he only had to wait about 5 minutes before the mermen appeared. They had been waiting in the deeper water for their mate to arrive.
It was a unique ability of the mermen and maids. They could sense where their mate was if they were in contact with the ocean.
"Hi" Jimin waved to them as they arrived.
Hosoek popped up right infront of him in the water, touching noses with Jimin. His lime green tail fins flicking happily in the water.
"Hi Hobi" Jimin signed to the merman.
Hoseok perked up at the nickname. He made a happy noise that sounded like a high pitched dolphin sound. Rubbing his cheek against Jimin's.
"I have come to swim with you today" Jimin signed. Before leaving the water and running back up the beach to the cliffs where he had left his backpack full of gear.
He opened the backpack and pulled out the diving mask and snorkel. He then left the backpack at the cliff base as he usually did. Making his way down to the water as quickly as he could.
"What's that?" Jin signed to him.
Jungkook pulled the snorkel out of Jimin's hands to study it. Namjoon did the same with the diving mask, he and Yoongi peering through it with curiosity.
"I can't see or breath underwater like you can. These help me to do that. The mask stops water going in my eyes and the snorkel helps me breath if it is above the water" Jimin signed slowly to show them how important it was.
