Jimin sighed as he dragged the mermen along behind him. Jungkook still holding his hand as they walked through the street. The mermen were complaining of the heat and the sun and the land. Anything and everything they were complaining about, Jimin had stopped trying to translate and respond to their quick flurry of hand gestures and questions.

It was like babysitting 6 toddlers who couldn't help but want to pick up everything in sight, only for Jimin to wrestle it out of their hands and apologise to the stall owner. The mermen blinking and smiling at him, completely oblivious to the turmoil they were inflicting upon Jimin.

They finally got to the last shop Jimin needed to attend, before they could head back to the island. The mermen once again hissed at one of the feral cats living at the docks. They had been doing this to every single cat they passed, muttering in their own high pitched language to one another.

The high pitched screeches had caused several people around them at the time to almost jump out of the their skin in shock at the noise. Jimin had just sighed and continued to walk despite the mermen's determination to scare every cat they came across.

Jimin took the doll out of Jungkook's hands and placed it back on the stall, sending an apologetic smile at the stall owner. The stall owner, a young girl looked enamoured by the handsome man's smile. And didn't comment on his actions as they walked off.

"This is the last shop, then we can go home. Please do not pick anything up" Jimin signed at them, looking to Hoseok, Taehyung and Jungkook in particular as they were the most like culprits of this offense.

The mermen all perked up at the mention of home. They sent him smiles full of sharp teeth, Jimin involuntarily shivered alittle as the sun glinted off them. They trailed behind him as he entered the music shop.

He was intending on picking up some new notebooks for his music writing. He hadn't done it in a while and didn't want to lose his ability. Especially since he had found his Grandfather's guitar in one of the rooms, it had been covered in dust. Jimin wanted to play it and the lack of music in the house made that difficult, plus he wanted to introduce the mermen to human music since they had liked it when he sang for them.

A twanging sound echoed around the relatively silent shop. Jimin turned around leveling his disapproving stare at Taehyung who was just about to pull the string on the guitar again. But immediately pulled his navy scaled fingers away from the strings as Jimin continued to look at him with disappointment written across his features.

Taehyung visibly curled in on himself, feeling ashamed that he had disappointed his mate. And promptly pulled his hands into his chest to try and resist the urge to pull at the strings and press the keys on the piano just to see what they would do.

"No Jungkook" Namjoon pulled Jungkook's hand away from the piano.

The elder didn't want to experience the disapproving stare of their mate again. He could already see the mounting frustration in the young pink haired man.

"Sorry" Jungkook whined in the mer language as Jin reached out to hold his hands to prevent him from reaching out again. He was young and curious of the human world but they didn't want to draw too much attention to themselves as they already had during their day on land.

Eventually Jimin had found all that he wanted to buy and quickly paid the owner, ushering the mermen out of the shop. They obediently followed him like over eager puppies.

"We go home now?" Hoseok signed.

Jimin didn't sign back, but nodded his head in response to the question. Hoseok made a trilling sound of joy and pressed a kiss to Jimin's cheek. The human flushed alittle but continued to walk down to the dock where their boat would be waiting for them so they could return home.

They made it down to the dock and Jimin was soon taking the spare bags from Namjoon, Jin and Yoongi. The 3 who were strongest in their ability to walk on land and had offered to carry the bags of food and supplies Jimin had bought throughout the day.

"You can go back in the water when we are out of view of the main land ok?" Jimin signed to them.

They all nodded eager to feel the water flowing over their scales once again. To be able to swim with their tails as nature had created for them rather than walk on land as humans were made to do.

Jimin quickly started the boat moving them out of the harbour and back into the open waters. He opened the map and began to follow the directions back to their island, back home.

Soon Jimin was able to give the signal to the mermen when they were out of view of the main land. The mermen happily disposed of their clothing, dropping the t-shirts and shorts to the boat floor and falling over the side of the boat and into the open ocean.

Yoongi merely rolled off the front of the boat, too tired to stand up and dive off the side like the others had. Soon the mermen were popping up at the boat side, hair wet, which was quickly shook to stop the water droplets from falling into their eyes.

"I'm sure you know the way home" Jimin smiled, urging them on.

Jungkook grabbed at the rope on board the boat, that Jimin used to tied the boat up at docks. He tied it around his slim red scaled waist and began to swim. Pulling the boat along behind him.

"Sleep, we will take you home" Jin lent up on the boat, briefly stroking Jimin's hair and the human found himself falling asleep on the floor of the boat, the discarded clothing lining it, leaving him feeling warm and safe.
