Lucy's POV

*ring ring*

I creaked my eyes opened as my alarm rang loudly. I sat up and started to stretch my arms. I looked outside my window and noticed the sky was still dark. However, the streets were filled with shimmering lights.

Christmas,

I grinned to myself as I checked my clock. It was only eleven, I still have one hour to get ready before the first hour of Christmas strikes. I quickly went to wash my face and started to get ready.

After around 30 minutes, I was ready to head off. I put a scarf around my neck and smiled excitedly to myself in the mirror.

Our first date...

I left my apartment and head out to the streets. I still had some time left so I decided to take a small walk around the newly decorated town.

Even though it's almost midnight, couples could be seen everywhere. A huge Christmas tree was also placed at the heart of the town. My spirits were lifted looking at how lively the town was.

As I kept my numb hands inside my coat, I took a look outside the shophouses. Just then, my eyes trailed to a red coat. Unknowingly, I brought myself inside the shop and bought it.

This will look good on Natsu.

I grinned to myself just by thinking about him. I slapped my cheeks lightly to shoo some thoughts away before I started walking to the place where were going to meet.

Soon, I arrived. I saw him standing alone under the tree hiding half of his face under his muffler. He was shivering slightly from the cold. I giggled to myself at how cute he was.

I put on my best smile and approached him.

"Natsu!"

Natsu's POV

The cold is chilling me to the bone. I placed my hands in my pockets and cussed under my breath.

It's so cold.

Just then, a melodious voice travelled into my ears. My eyes shot up and I saw Lucy standing right there. Immediately, I felt warmth seeping back into me.

I smiled at her and she smiled back.

"Hey," I said.

"Hi." she replied

I held both of her hands and rub my thumbs soothingly over her knuckles. Her hands are freezing cold. I covered her petite hands with mine and placed them in my pocket as I tried to warm them up.

"Feeling better?" I asked in concern.

"Yeah, thank you." She smiled shyly.

That smile is killing me inside.

Slowly, I twirled her around and made her back face me. I wrapped my arms around her and tried to warm her up. I kissed her head before I put my chin atop of it.

"Say," I started out slowly.

She tilt her head up and bore her brown orbs into mine.

I breathed in sharply and said, "What do you think of me?"

I could tell her breath hitched. She swallowed her non-existent lump in her throat and said nervously, "U-Um, well, e-er. W-What do you think of me?"

I flinched at her question.

This is getting nowhere.

I sighed and hugged her closer to me. "W-Well... You're like my lucky star that I always wished for...Not only a star, you are also my Sun, always greeting me with a warm light."

I kept my silence for a while before I continued, "...T-This might come out sudden but Lucy, I like you. I mean not as a friend but as a man. No wait, it's not just like. I freaking love you, you're not just my star or my Sun. You're my whole damn sky Lucy."

I turned her body around to face me only to see her covering her mouth as tears trickled down her rosy cheeks. I caressed her face gently and kissed her nose before I bumped my forehead on hers.

I stared into her orbs and whispered, "Be my lover?"

She threw her arms around me immediately and pressed her soft lips onto mine. I wrapped my arms around her waist instinctively and kissed her back.

It was sort of a sloppy kiss because of her tears.

She pulled away and gazed at me with happiness glistening in her eyes. With our foreheads still touching, she smiled brightly at me and said, "I love you too, I'll be your sky, and you'll be mine."

I hugged her immediately and twirled her around as she laughed heartily along with me. I gave out a shout of joy before I kissed her on her lips again.

"I love you, I love you so much."

She giggled before she replied, "I love you too." I grinned at her answer. I quickly took out the ring in my pocket and slipped it onto her finger. I raised my left hand and showed a similar ring to hers.

"We belong to each other now." I grinned.

She laughed happily and hugged me again. Both of us fell into the snow as the colorful Sakura petals fell gently around us.

I felt euphoric.

Then, I whispered into her ear,

"Shine only for me, my star."
