Natsu's POV

"Lisanna's location has been pinpointed!"

I perked up at that sentence and rushed to the centre of the hall. Everyone gathered anxiously

"Where is she?" I asked

"She's somewhere around the borders of Magnolia." Warren said.

"Let's go!" I said.

The whole guild packed their essentials before heading out. We moved out in small groups to avoid suspicion. Currently, my team is progressing through the town at the fastest rate.

"Slow down Natsu!" Gray said.

"Threre's no time to slow down! Lucy is just right there!" I said, not looking back as I continued to run.

"True, but Wendy can't keep up!" I stopped in my tracks immediately and saw Wendy panting heavily while on her knees.

"S-Sorry, Wendy." I said, feeling slightly guilty. "Are you alright?" I squatted beside her in conern.

Wendy looked up and gave me a small smile, "I-It's okay Natsu-san, I'm alright. You guys can go without me, I just need a little rest."

"B-But,"

Wendy put her hand up in assurance, "No buts Natsu-san. Lucy-san is in danger. Go and get her back for us! You don't have any time to lose. I'll catch up soon enough, don't worry." She said firmly.

I hesitated a little before I nodded. My pace picked up slightly and I gave Wendy one last glance, she nodded and smiled at me. I smiled back before taking off again.

-

Adrenaline was rushing through me and my skin felt prickly against the cold wind. My heart was pounding so fast due to the anxiousness and I swear it's going to jump out sooner or later.

After a long run, we finally managed to reach the border of Magnolia. The population here is not as dense as it was at the central. As we arrived, other teams gradually arrived as well. We nodded to each other before dispersing to find the exact location.

As Erza, Gray and I combed through the streets, there was not a single clue in sight.

Just then, Warren cut into our minds, "Natsu, Gray, Erza, can you hear me?"

"Warren? What is it?" I asked with a slight annoyance as my eyes continued to scan my surroundings.

"We've found something that might lead us to Lucy." Warren replied.

My movements stopped and I took a sniff in the air, "Coming now."

-

"What on earth..." Gray said in shock.

We're currently in the middle of a forest with a huge black sphere before us.

"Stay back." I said as I inhaled sharply.

Everyone took a step back as I concentrated my flames in my mouth, "Roar of the Fire Dragon!" Flames spewed out from my mouth and headed straight for the sphere.

As the flames and smoke dispersed, not a single crack was visible on the sphere.

That was when I started to get desperate, "Fire Dragon's Iron Fist!"

The sphere still looked fresh and new. "Everyone!" Erza commanded. They nodded and concentrated their magic at one single point on the sphere.

"Natsu!" Erza shouted through the magic combustion.

I took that as a sign and leaped into the air and gathered my flames around my body, "Fire Dragon's Sword Horn!" I used my flames as booster and headbutted the sphere.

A crack appeared significantly before breaking into shards, creating an opening big enough for us to enter. As we entered, there was another similar looking sphere. I cussed under my breath and everyone groaned in frustration. Just when we were about to reincarnate the same stunt again, a black wave threw us over.

My back crashed onto the black wall and slid down.

"Long time no see, Fairy Tail." A sickening voice resounded through the sphere as the rest of the guild rubbed their heads to soothe the impact.

I cracked my eyes open saw a silhouette closing into me. "Lisanna." I growled.

"Hello darling." She gave me a loop-sided smile.

"Where's Lucy?" I said with hatred lacing my voice.

"Who knows?" She taunted as she continue to throw bodies away carelessly that blocked her path towards me.

"I'll ask you again, where's Lucy?" I said as I stood up, setting my fists ablaze, lighting up my surroundings.

"You'll have to get through me first, Natsu." Lisanna said as she summoned a scythe out of darkness.

"As you wish." My eyes narrowed down to her neck as I aimed my fists. Just when I was about to land a punch on her, I was stopped by a sudden strong gush of wind.

"Wendy!" Everyone said in surprise.

"Leave this to me Natsu-san! Please search for Lucy-san!" Wendy said as she took her eyes off Lisanna and glanced at me.

"Wing Attack of the Sky Dragon!" The strong force of wind threw Lisanna off her game again.

"Go!" Wendy said firmly while standing in her battle stance.

I glanced at her worriedly. There was no way she could stand up to Lisanna on her own. With just a blow from that psycho, her petite body would be in pieces!

"Don't worry Natsu. We're here to support Wendy. Move forward while you still have the chance!" Erza said as Gray nodded with assurance.

With them here, she should be alright.

I smiled at them and shouted, "Thanks!"

"No you don't!" Lisanna shouted while she tried to get off the ground. A black strip came charging towards me a fast speed. That was until it froze in ice.

"Go, Natsu!" Gray shouted.

"You didn't have to tell me twice!" I shouted back as I leaped into the air once more with my flames. I lit my fists with fire again, "Dragon Slayer's Secret Art: Crimson Lotus Fire Dragon's Fist!" I charged and punched the sphere rapidly, creating a subsequent explosion after each contact. That was when the sphere shattered completely.

And right in front of my eyes, there stood my princess I searched for. My chest relaxed at the sight of her.

Her surprised features was quickly replaced with tears. I ran towards her and broke her chains easily. She jumped into my embrace and we stood hugging each other tightly.

"Natsu..." She sobbed.

Everything felt right with her in my arms. Finally, I could ensure her safety with my own eyes. I kissed the top of her head and hugged her closer to my heart.

"Lucy." I breathed.
