My fingers worked fast on the keyboard in front of me as I once in a while glanced back down at the paper I was writing from, trying to get all the vital information down fast as possible. My work process was only interrupted whenever the phone beside me rang once in a while either to take a message for the boss or to send them to his phone instead.

The loud and earpiercing ringing of the phone in front of me started once more and I quietly let out a sigh before grabbing it. I seriously needed to find a way to change the ring tone.

"Deer& architecture, secretary Jung, how may I help you?" I questioned in the sugar sweet voice that was almost routine for me by now.

"Miss Jung can you come to my office?" my boss questioned and within seconds my face fell.

"Of course," I assured and placed the phone down once again.

I quickly got up from my hair before walking to the door only a few meters behind me. A few knocks on the door and I slowly entered, somehow for a second I almost expected Sunghoon to be sitting in the office, despite the vast differences between the two companies.

"Everything alright sir?" I carefully questioned and closed the door beside me, only being gestured to move forward and sit down in the chair across from my boss, on the other side of his desk.

"I can understand you're moving this weekend," he stated and I just quietly nodded at him, quite confused as to where he had heard those news, "Sunghoon is an old business partner of mine," he excused and that's how I knew how he had been told, "I delivered some sketches to his company a few days ago, and he immediately told me how he was moving into a smaller house with his girlfriend. I was unaware of him even having one and he very excitedly told me about a miss Jung Sieun."

"Ah..." I slowly nodded and felt my cheeks turn a soft pink, slightly embarrassed and slightly flattered over Sunghoon's behavior towards us moving into a smaller house together.

"So... I have seen how you've been working for the past two weeks, and I need you to understand it's very rare I let such new colleagues do this. But I'm willing to give you Friday off so you can have more than just two days to move and settle into the new house," he remarked and my eyebrows immediately shot up on my forehead, not really believing what I heard, "I'm thrilled that Sunghoon found someone that can tolerate him and how cold he can be, I think it's the least I can do for him to give his girlfriend and extra day off to properly start their life together."

"Thank you mr. Lee," I quickly bowed my head towards him, "that means a lot, it really does."

"It's a kind gesture Sieun," he reminded with a small smile, "but that also means you'll have to work particularly hard on Monday, agreed?"

"Yes," I quickly nodded at him, "of course I will."

"Alright, you can go now," he assured and waved me off before turning to his computer once again, picking up his stylus pen. Something told me he was working on some new sketches for something.

I was quick to get out of my chair again and rush over to the door. I knew the office phone wasn't supposed to be used for it, but I had to call Sunghoon fast as possible, or at least that's what I felt. Luckily for me I actually had Sunghoon's number, and not just the number to his office, so Jake wouldn't have to put me through to him.

I impatiently waited for the phone to be picked up as I tapped my fingers on the tabletop. I closely listened to the beeps that signalled that the call has yet to be picked up.

A small spark of disappointment filled me once the beeps went dead and the phone stayed silent for longer. He hadn't picked it up. But it was fine, he was probably in some meeting at the moment and I can't always expect him to just pick up his phone simply because I'm the one calling. I'll just tell him about my extra day off when I get home tonight.

The only thing was just... he didn't stand and wait for me when I got home, and when I asked Sunoo where he was he simply replied with a shrug, saying that Sunghoon had yet to reach home.

I tried to get my time to pass by helping Sunoo with a few of his chores, so he could go early home for the day. Eventually I had ended up all alone in the house, when Sunoo had gone home shortly before dinner time. I even ate dinner alone.

I almost felt like a restless ghost as I wandered through the house for the hours until I decided to just go to bed, assuming that there just had been a lot of work for Sunghoon today, but even then he normally just took it with him home.

I would just ask him in the morning why he came home so late, and just go to sleep for now, I had to work tomorrow anyways so I better get rest if I wanted to have most of my work done before Friday.
