I gripped the steering wheel, my eyes locked on her as she talked to some guy in the drive away.

"Maybe it's a friend." I looked over at Leo.

"No friend looks at another friend like that," I said to him. He smiled and just shrugged. I looked back at her, clenching my jaws. She looked over at the car and then walked away.

"You think she saw us." He asked.

"I hope so," I said as I got out of the car. I walked up to the other car knocking on the window. Leo got out and walked up beside me.The window rolled down.

"Hi can i-" I shot him in the head before he got a chance to say anything else. I looked over at Leo. He sighed and made a phone call to clean up the mess. I smiled and walked into the building, the guy behind the desk fell off his chair. Last time I came here we pointed a gun at him. I stopped mid way on the stairs turning around.

Leo, who was still on the phone, gave me a pointed look. I walked down the stairs that I already went up jumping over the counter. I sat down on it with my gun dangling on my fingers. He got off the ground and tried to be brave.

"I know those eyes have stared at my girl multiple times. Am I right?" I asked. He shaked his head. I grabbed his collar pulling him closer to me. I looked down at his id.

"Hubert is it?" I asked again. He nodded. I pushed him down onto his seat.

"Come man she got a nice ass perky breats. I'm sure you want to tap that." I said to him, I looked over ar leo.

"That's how they say it here right?" I asked him. He rolled his eyes but nodded.

"I won't hurt you. Man to man." I dropped my gun beside me.

"Well i- she is hot. Her ass jumps every time she comes off the second to last step and when she does her morning jog at 8:15 in the morning and comes back sweats all over her cleavage." He looked up the stairs mesmerized. I clenched my fist. I looked down and saw how hard he was. I smiled at him pulling out my knife. I got off and held him by the collar. I ran the blade over his eye lid and he whimpered.

"I don't like men looking at what is mine, Hubert." I covered his mouth, shoving the knife into his eye. I twisted it then pulled it out. I then slit his other eyelid making sure it was deep and I shoved the balde in. I pulled it out and shoved him. I jumped over the counter grabbing my gun.

"Have a nice day hubert." I said before shooting him in the groin.

"I can't take you anywhere. You can't shoot everyone that looks or talks her way." Leo warned me as he took out his phone.

"I can and I will." I walked up the stairs and turned onto her floor. She was unlocking her door unaware that I was behind her. I walked up behind her and grabbed the key over her head from her hands. She turned around only to be backed against the door. I smirked down at her.

"You didn't scare me. I heard a gunshot go off downstairs. You can't kill everyone you see." She tried hitting me but I quickly grabbed her arm. I used my other hand to open the door. When it opened I slightly pushed her in. She managed to find her balance before she fell over.

"I can see I pissed you off and we could work this-"

"Who was that guy you were just talking to?" I asked sternly. Her mouth slowly closed, a smirk forming on those beautiful lips of hers.

"Oh is Mr.Alessandro the big bad Mafia man jealous?" She asked with a chuckle. I looked at Leo who was guarding the door in his own little world. I stalked towards her.

"Not anymore but I don't want another man to even breathe the same air as you. Next time I see him around what is mine I won't hold back to killing him." My fingers brushed against her chin.

"Have I made myself clear princess?" I asked. She nodded her head.

"Boss," Leo called out. I turned my head towards him. I saw Mason and another man walk in. I backed away from her.

"Alessandro," Mason said as he walked over to me.

"Hey, little man," I said as we did our handshake that we made up.

"Everything okay here?" The man asked. When we finished I looked up at the man behind Mason.

"Mason, why don't you go upstairs." He said to him, Mason looked hesitant, he looked over at me and I gave him a reassuring smile. He smiled back and went up the stairs. I could see the resemblance to Mason so I figured he was his father. He looked over at Adelina then back over at me.

"Everything is fine," I said to him,

"I wasn't speaking to you. I was speaking to Adelina." He said angrily. I clenched my jaw and glared at the man. Leo noticed and cleared his throat, he walked over to me.

"Forse dovremmo partire. Non dimenticare che dobbiamo essere a casa prima che arrivino." He whispered in my ears. I closed my eyes and sighed.

'Maybe we should leave. Don't forget that we have to be home before they come.'

I looked over at Adelina. She was awfully quiet. I walked up to her but the man stepped closer.

"This conversation isn't over, princess," I said to her, I turned around and walked out making eye contact with the man. Leo strode behind me as we went down the stairs.

Adelina Pov

I stared at the door where Alessandro left. Noah walked over to me checking if I was okay.

"Adelina are you okay?" I brushed his hands off me and nodded. He took a step back.

"I'm fine. Everything is fine"

"I didn't look like it. Adelina I'm not going to watch you go through this again." He shouted at me. I closed my eyes, preventing the tears from falling. He sighed.

"I'm sorry." He tried saying but I shook my head.

"No. You shouldn't be sorry. I am the girl who falls for bad guys that always end up hurting me." I said to him, He looked at me with pity in his eyes. I scoffed and turned around.

"Just leave." I waved my hand at him.

"No." I turned around to him.

"I'm done with this Adelina. I try helping you and you push me away. You live in an awful neighborhood and apartment, we have a thirteen-year-old child. Now you're letting men like them just stroll into your apartment. He seemed quite close with Mason and he talks quite a lot about Alessandro. Adelina, I tried with you but I will not let you take my son down with you." He shouted at me. My eyes became blurry over with tears filled in them.

"What are you saying, Noah?" I asked. He sighed and rubbed his hands against his face.

"WHAT THE FUCK ARE YOU SAYING TO ME NOAH," I screamed at him. tears streaming down my face.

"I'M TAKING MASON FROM YOU." He screamed back. I took a step back from him. I couldn't form any words.

"I'm sorry Adelina but I have to put my son's safety first. I tried to reason with you but you're just so damn stubborn. I'll give you a week to be with him and if you fight me, Adelina, I will bring this to court." He turned and walked out the door slamming it behind him. I stared at the door, unable to do anything.

"Mom?" I quickly wiped the tear away from my face and turned around to my son.

"Hey, baby." I ruffled his hair.

"MOM. We talked about this." He scoffed and brushed his hair back. He stopped and looked up at me.

"Are you okay? You look like you are crying." He said softly. I shook my head.

"I'm fine. How about we spend the week together. No school, no work. Just the both of us." I smiled at him.

"He's taking me away from you isn't he." My smile dropped. A tear slipped from his eyes. He pushed me away and went up the stairs.

"Mason." I tried calling out to him but he was long gone. I leaned against the wall, cuddling up next to it.
