"I'm making the right decision right?" I asked once again. Mia rolled her eyes.

"Yes. You've asked that question over a billion times. You even spent the whole night at the nightclub last night drunk telling everyone about your lover and your life story even though most of them probably didn't understand a word because your Italian is horrible." She sighed. I turned to her.

"I was just asking." I shrugged. She raised an eyebrow and took a sip from her wine. We were in the room helping Rossana into her wedding dress. I was pacing back and forth in front of the mirror waiting for someone to let us know that we could go out.

"Adelina." Rossana grabbed me, holding me still.

"This is my day. Please don't ruin it with your love for my brother. When you confess to him, he will confess back. You guys will then live happily ever after. He doesn't know you're here. It would be an amazing surprise but for now can you please just calm your tits." She let go of me and walked over to the couch.

"She's right sweetheart. Just be calm. I'm sure Alessandro will be happy to see you." Noemi told me.

"Your mother's instinct better be right." I pouted. She chuckled and patted me on the shoulder. The door opened revealing Massimo.

"It's time." He said as he walked through the door. The bridesmaids got up and left. He locked eyes with me looking at me shocked.

"Well hello-"

"Say a word to your brother and I will slice your intestines out." I said as I walked past me.

"Yes ma'am." He mumbled.

Leo and Rossanna chose an outdoor theme. We were standing behind a floral arch with flowers decorated on it. Rossana walked out to us in her wedding dress.

"You look beautiful." I said to her,

"Oh this will be the last minute I will see you as a single woman."Noemi wiped her fake tears.

"That means you can move out today right?" She asked.

"I'm not answering that." She mumbled. I looked out at the isle. My eyes scanned the crowd searching for a particular person. I found him standing next to Leo. I forgot he said he was going to be the best man. He was wearing a black tuxedo with a white undershirt. He laughed at something Leo told him, making his dimples show.

"You guys are meant for each other." Rossana whispered in my ear. Sabina peeked her head between the other bridesmaids.

"Come on, it 's your time to shine." Noemi smiled at her and led her out onto the aisle. Following the rings then the bridesmaids. I gave her one last hug before walking out onto the aisle.

Holding the bouquet tightly in my hands I kept my eyes solely on him. His eyes watched everyone walk down. I saw him do a double take back at me.

I smirked at his shocked expression. I stood next to a girl I didn't bother learning the name of. Soon Rossana stepped out. I looked over at Leo but instead locked eyes with Alessandro.

He looked as if he was about to say something but changed his mind. The ceremony was beautiful. I don't think I have ever seen Leo this happy.

After the ceremony finished I mysteriously found my way to the buffet. Funeral and wedding food are always the best. I stuffed a piece of meat on a stick into my mouth along with a dough filled with something else. I don't know but it tasted good. A server walked past me. I quickly grabbed a glass and took a sip.

"Did you only fly miles away for the food?" Someone asked. I spun around.

"Maybe." I said with a shrug. I smiled at him.

"Didn't expect you here." He stuffed his hands into his pockets.

"Well how else would I confess my love to my mafia daddy." I said to him,

"Are you saying?" He stepped closer to me.

"Yes. Alessandro Del Vante I am in love with you." I nodded to him. A wide smile slowly appeared on his face. He stepped up to me smashing his lips against mine. Someone cleared their throat pulling us apart.

"Dad, you said that we will dance until bedtime." Sabina madenan angry pout while crossing her arms in front of her chest.

"Right uhh." He turned back to me.

"I'm sorry." He apologized.

"No, don't be." I waved him off. He gave me one more kiss before walking off with Sabina. I watched him twirl her around gently as they laughed with each other.

Maybe I made the right decision.

Ever since I met Alessandro it's like I couldn't get enough of him. Like he was consuming me. Every time I went he was there. I didn't know whether it was fate or just pure luck but I was happy it happened.

All of my life I've been running from my past and now here I am with my future. Maybe all I needed was a little spark of fire to ignite me.
