No one ever told me love would hurt this much...
I lie awake on my bed, blankly staring at the ceiling.
The soft bed beneath me had begun to warm, as I hadn't moved for quite a while.
The scent of Y/n covered me, that sweet citrus I had grown accustomed to.
Tears form in my eyes at the mention of him.
They slowly drip down to either side of my head as I try to think of a way to talk to him.
But my mind came up blank.
The cold of the house rarely allowed me to think straight.
It was insanity-inducing, I wanted to let my thoughts rest, but every time I did, the cold would force me awake.
Finally, I grew sick of laying around.
I found the strength to move my body, to reach for my phone.
Y/n...
I turn on my phone, blinding myself for a moment, as the brightness had been set to max.
I tone down the brightest and open up my contacts list.
I scroll past a few contacts and get down to Y/n.
