Akali PoV

A small sigh exits my mouth as we stand in front of the restaurant, hand in hand.

"Something wrong, Akali?"

I shake my head with a small smile.

"No..."

I grip his hand tightly.

"I'm just having an odd feeling about this place."

I chuckled as he reassured me by wrapping his arm around me.

"Yeah? Well, I'm here, so there's no need to worry."

I chuckled with a playful grin.

"My hero."

He shot me a wink with a cheeky grin, and after a small pause, he turned ahead.

"Shall we?"

I nod.

"We shall."

Y/n opens the door for us, revealing exactly what one would expect from a fancy restaurant.

All sorts of decorations littered the area, exclaiming their presumed extravagance. I rolled my eyes, knowing that they were all for show. Most likely, either the food or the service would be complete shit.

None of that mattered, however, because right now, I was with Y/n. He was all the fun I needed right now.

"Ah, Señore, bievenido a Parfait De Wuju. May I have your name Señore?"

An Ionian man with a friendly smile greeted us.

Y/n smiled at the man.

"Y/n L/n."

The man grew an excited smile.

"Ohoho, Monsieur L/n, follow me, s'il vous plaît"

Y/n walked forward with a certain confidence to him, one that I usually don't get to see.

I followed with him, still locked to his arm as the man led us to our table.

???: "Here you are Monsieur L/n, my name is Pierre, s'il vous plaît, may I take your drinks?"

We were still standing when he asked.

Didn't even let us sit down yet.

"I'll have water."

I nod my head.

"Me too."

He wrote it down and clap his hands.

Two menus popped up from beneath the table, surprising both Y/n and me.

"Let me know when you are ready to order, Madam Tethi and Monsieur L/n."

He already knew me.

I furrow my brow.

It seems I can't escape their influence anywhere.

The man walked away, leaving me and Y/n alone.

"Jeez, the guy didn't even let us sit down."

He chuckled.

"Pushy bastard huh?"

He shot me a smile after the small remark.

I nodded as I took a seat.

"That's just how it is sometimes."

He takes the other seat, which was opposite me.

"Let's just hope nothing else interrupts us—"
