Of Course I Still Love You

My heart felt relieved, Akali wasn't scared of me.

At the same time, it felt pain.

I knew I had to get the main issue out of the way.

Glancing at Eve, I notice a small smile on her face.

"Eve?"

Her attention shifts to me.

"Yes?"

I glanced away from her.

"Can you give us a moment?"

She hummed.

"Understood."

She stood up and after a small stretch, she walked away moving towards the stairs.

I sighed and let go of Akali, finally building the courage to speak.

"Sit down, Akali."

She looked at me questioningly. But reluctantly took a seat on the couch.

"We need to talk about... Us."

I cross my arms.

"I saw you and Kai'sa kissing last night. At first, I thought my mind was playing tricks on me, but seeing the two of you now, it's clear to me that you two are more than friends."

She tried to speak out but I held my hand, silencing her.

"I'm here to tell you, it's fine. I don't care. You two can hug, kiss, fuck, all you want. I won't stop you. But what I'm not gonna do, is sit and get fucked around with by the two of you."

I stare at the girl, who seems to shrink a bit.

"As they say, plenty of fish in the sea. You can't cry over every lost bass."

She groaned out rubbing her face.

"You don't understand Y/n—"

I laugh.

"I'm gonna quote you on this one, 'It's pretty hard to misinterpret two people kissing."

She tried to reinstate her point, but I refused.

"It's over Akali, you and I are no longer a thing, not that we were a thing before, but still, I want you to know where we stand."

I turn my back to her.

"Feel free to feel free, and I'll do the same."

That felt good. 

A huge weight had been lifted from my shoulders.

So much so, I felt light.

Sliding my hands into my pocket, I head upstairs.

"B-But—"

I glance at her from my shoulder.

"Drop it Akali, trust me, you'll be happier for it."

I turn forward and pressed through to the top of the stairs.

I head into my room, the likeliest place Evelynn is.

I knock on the door, the gear two distinct calls saying it was open.

"Come in! / It's open!"

Slowly, I open the door.

Inside, Kai'sa and Evelynn sat down on my bed.
