Chapter 4-The Death Of Me

As they all walked over to me, i gave them the hardest stare

Victoria looked at me with utmost love, while i was fuming with hatred

"How are you dear" she asked me, placing a comforting hand on my hair

"Im okay" i managed to calm myself, and replied

Gabriel gave me a small smile, and Marco gave me pat on the shoulder

"He's in a better place" Marco said and i cringed at his words

Actually, all of their faces made me mad

I wanted to rip them all apart, but right now wasn't the moment

I let them have their moment and they all went inside the mausoleum to see my dad

I sighed as i impatiently waited for them to come out, so i could finally leave

Soon, they did

"Let me know if you're in need of something" Gabriel said and i nodded

The three of them tried to cheer me up and i tried everything but respond nicely to them

I didn't want their sympathy, not after what they did to me

They were the reason i was here in the first place. I might not have the proof right now, but I'm sure they're behind all this.

As my thoughts grew deeper and deeper, reality had seemingly faded away

I found myself floating in past memories, nightmares of yesterday and his scream

They all made me cry and i could do nothing to change that

Suddenly, someone shook my hand violently and i snapped back into reality

"LYRA" Gabriel said worriedly and i looked at him

Suddenly, i heard a gunshot from somewhere around me and my entire body stiffened

"gunshot?" I said confused and the trio looked around

"We need to go" Andrew rushed to me and i nodded

He led me through the back and we ran to the cars

I went to the car, and sat in it

The gunshots didn't stop, but i felt safer now that i was in the car

Suddenly, i felt an odd feeling surround me, and the temperature around me dropped enormously

"What the fu*k" i said clutching to my neck, gasping for air

Before i could get a hold of what happened, a thin beep started going off

It took me a second, but i realized what it was

"A timed b*mb" i muttered as the beep went off like crazy, indicating it was the time of launch

I closed my eyes as the beep finally went silent, and the car blasted away into nothing
