Lyra's POV
the kiss was soft, unexpected and it was.. unreal
"Lyra" Arthur said softly, as i broke away a little
We both took a moment to catch our breath, while simultaneously trying to figure out what just happened
With my heart pounding inside my head, my sweaty hands and sparkly eyes- one thing i knew for sure was that i was in love with him
Yes- i think now i know that feeling. Of love.
"Lyra" Arthur said again, his eyes meeting mine
My breath hitched in my throat as i realized what i had just done- and what affect my actions could have on this whole situation
"Don't" I quickly said, interrupting his thoughts
"I didn't know what i was thinking. I'm sorry" i said and stormed out of that study like wind
I ran and ran until i got out of the house, and when i did- I quickly ran to my car
I sat down in the driver's seat and placed my hands on the steering- once again trying to sort my brain
This is so insane- my brain told me as I realised what my heart had just confessed
How am i in love? I said confused
"This can't be" i spoke to myself, worried
"I can't be experiencing love right now- I'm not made for that bul-shir" i cursed myself
"Its probably a phase" i convinced myself and immediately reversed out of the driveway
I soon hit the road and never once did Arthur's phone rang during the car ride
Soon, i pulled into my driveway and was astonished to see the amount of security
At the front, i saw Andrew going around like crazy
He saw me- and immediately ran to me as several guards ran behind him
"Lyra" Andrew scanned me
"What is all this?" I mumbled confused
This many guards is actually crazy
"Its for safety- I can't be risking your life" he said seriously and i smiled
"I know you're worried, but this isn't needed" i said
"This will only bring attention" i added and Andrew sighed
"I know I'm just- tired of you trying to always get this revenge and risk your life" Andrew said
"I know you're tired, i promise it will be over soon" i said patting his shoulder
"Till then, all i need is your support" i smiled a little and he smiled back at me
"You always have it" he said
We soon made our way inside and i took a long shower, washing away the feelings from today
After doing my skincare, i finally made my way outside to the lounge room and saw Andrew sitting there with his hands on his knees
"Whats wrong?" I asked, sitting beside him
"Nothing" he said with a heavy sigh, leaning back on the sofa
"Oh cmon, that face i know very well" i said and he chuckled
"I've been trying to think of how we can get back at Gabriel and end this all" he said truthfully
"I have a plan" i said
"You do?" He asked
"I always did" i said and smiled
"But im going to modify it a little, i need to give him a taste of his own medicine" i said
"What are you planning to do?" Andrew raised an eyebrow and i smirked at him
"Something that will end this, once and for all"
