4 years Later
"Can you please sit down boys?" I yelled at top of my lungs as i carried the boxes to the living room
"Boys, shouldn't you be helping your mom?" Melissa walked in through the front door, bringing even more boxes
"Ugh I'm so glad you are here" i hugged her with everything in me
Everything is such a mess
"Someone missed me" she said giggling
"Its so tough to arrange a surprise for Arthur, i feel like I don't have enough time" i said and Melissa smiled
"Don't worry, I already asked Andrew to keep Arthur out for long. We have a few hours" Melissa said and i sighed in relief
"You and Andrew being really close, is it what i think it is?" I eyed her smiling, teasing in my voice visible
"Oh my god shutup" Melissa playfully nudged me, her face bright red
"Ohhh" The boys ran to Melissa and Melissa burst out laughing
"Even the kids know" i patted one of the twins proudly
"Mom, when is dad going to be here?" Chris asked me and i smiled
"Not before you take all these gifts, and put them on the table outside in the garden" i said and soon the boys were off running
Melissa distracted herself with the food and i took a quick bathroom break
On top of everything, the only thing annoying me more is having to go pee every 10 minutes. Its too much.
As soon as i got out, i busied myself with more work and seconds turned into hours
By now, it was evening and everything was set up
"Im glad we're done" Melissa set the last of the plates on the table
"Go get ready quickly now, Andrew said that they're almost here" Melissa urged me inside the house
"What about the guests?" I said
"Me and the boys will greet them, go get ready quickly" she said and i hurried up the stairs
I took a quick shower, and then did light makeup
Leaving my hair out, i picked up the red velvet dress from the closet and wore it
The smooth texture settled against my skin, hugging my body perfectly
I paired it with white heels, and then looked myself in the mirror
Soon, i headed back downstairs and saw the few guests there
The rest of the time passed by quickly in greeting the guests
"He's here" Melissa said and everyone walked inside the garden
I quickly fixed my posture and then headed to the front door
"Hi" i opened the door excitedly, and met with Arthur's stunned gaze
"Oh" his eyes took me in, turning softer every second
"What is it today?" He said confused, taking a step towards me
"Is it our anniversary?" He said and i giggled
"No" i smiled and his hands went around my waist
"I missed you" he pulled me to his chest, closing the gap between us
"Not now" i mumbled breaking away, giggling at the same time
"Lets go" i intertwined his fingers in mine, and led him to the garden
