Present
"So wait let me catch on" he said, interrupting my narration once again
"Melissa is no longer a part of the plan" he said counting on his finger
"Victoria is de-d" he continued counting
"And you're planning to bring down Marco, even in this situation" he said finally putting his hand on the table
"Yes" i said
"Thats some crazy shit going on" he muttered under his breath but i heard it and let out a small laugh
"If it wasn't crazy, then it wouldn't be fun"

"Are we all ready?" I asked entering the room and all the men looked at me
"Yes everyone is ready, are you?" Arthur stepped in front of them and i nodded
"Okay then, let me introduce you to my best people" he said stepping aside a little
"Antonio- the best hacker" he said pointing to a young man wearing glasses
"Aly- my best informant" he continued
"And Dev- my best sniper" he said and i looked at all of them, a small smile on my face
"So what do we have on Marco?" I asked looking at Aly
"He's currently in his office- i found out that they're planning to consider going to that tender- the one you mentioned about" he said and i smiled
"And Antonio, you were successfully able to hack into the website and enlist Antonio as a guest to that meeting right?" I asked him and he nodded
"Yes, i changed it from the website and even uploaded his picture so no one suspects him" he said
"And Dev" i finally turned to him
"We don't really need a sniper now, but i asked for you because i thought you might be able to help" i said and he nodded
"I found out that Victoria was k-lled by a professional sniper, the bullet she was shot with was fired from a distance which meant someone targeted it" i explained
"I want you to find out who did it- maybe you know some other snipers who can be of help?" I said and he smiled
"Don't worry, i will ask others- Im sure whoever ordered to k-ll her payed handsomely so the underworld is already talking about it" he said, reassuring me
"Great then" i said turning around
I said my goodbyes and left the room, with Arthur hot on my heels
"How did you find all that about her? Did you see her body?" He asked me curiously
"I didn't" i said truthfully
"Then?" He asked confused
"Dr Kim did and he happens to owe me a favor so i asked him to give me a detailed autopsy" i said and he smiled
"Damn, you really have your ways" he said
"So where's Andrew?" He asked as we turned right and i saw Andrew outside my room
"Right there" i said and Arthur glanced up and both men looked at each other
"You look fancy" i said taking in Andrew's formal outfit
"I had to look the part" he blushed a little and i giggled
"I know you'll ace it" i said patting his shoulder
"I have to, I can't disappoint you" he said softly
"Well, you never have until now so I'm confident that you will be okay" i said and he smiled
"I have to go now- I'll see you guys later" he winked at me, paying absolutely no attention to Arthur
"Bye, call me if anything happens" i said to him as he gave my arm a comforting squeeze and then walked away
Both me and Arthur followed him with our gaze until he was out of vision and then, Arthur turned to me
"So" he said and i eyed him
"So what?" I asked
"Can i ask you something?" He said and i nodded, as we proceeded to walk back to the staircase
"Wait forget it" he changed his mind suddenly, and we got to the ground floor
He didn't speak after that, and kept his quiet until we got to my study
"Nah, i have to ask it" he said, giving up
"Then ask" i mumbled walking to my desk
"How long have you known that dude?" He asked
"Which dude?" I said, looking through the files on my desk
"Andrew" he said and it made me stop reading
I lifted my head to meet his eyes, and his eyes had an urgent need in them
"Why do you want to know?" I asked, joining my hands together to rest my chin
"You see, he kind of doesn't like me" Arthur said sitting opposite me
"Well- not everyone likes everyone" i said smiling
"Well what about you? Do you like him?" He asked me suddenly, and it seemed to flicker something in me
"Why do you care?" I asked him, my eyes glowing
"Im just curious" he lied and i smiled
"Are you jealous?" I asked him, interested in this conversation suddenly
"Me? Never" he scoffed, trying to play cool
"Yup. Totally jealous" i said giggling
"I'm not jealous okay? I'm just concerned" he said and i mocked him
"What exactly are you concerned about? Me liking him?" I asked smiling wide
"So you do like him" he mumbled and i sighed
"I don't, he's just a friend" i said and he scoffed
"I'm sure he doesn't think that" Arthur said annoyed
"Since when do you care about this all so much? I thought it cringed you" i mocked him jokingly and he snapped his eyes at me
"I don't" he lied again
"Yeah whatever" i said
"And liking each other doesn't cringe me now" he said
"So you like someone" i said, turning my eyes to the papers again
He didn't speak this time, and when i looked at him
He looked back at me with a look in his eyes, a look that meant
'Yes, i like someone'
