CHAPTER ~ 45

POV :~ AARAV

I couldn't imagine that how fast I was getting whipped by her. I have started liking her company. I have started enjoying her presence. Her mere presence beside me soothes my mind.

I reached home by evening.
Hridya was in the kitchen, preparing dinner along with Nikita. Aadya was playing with Avi and Mumma.

I sat on the sofa along with mumma and had a good chat along with her.

I stood up to leave for my room but before leaving I asked Hridya to bring a cup of tea for me in the room.

By the time I changed my clothes, I heard the knock on the door. The door swung open and she came inside. She kept the tray on the table and sat beside me on the sofa.

I gave her a gentle smile and questioned,

"Missed me?".

She just gave me a smile, blushing smile.

I pulled her a little closer and placed my head on her shoulder.

She placed her palm on my cheek and asked,

"Tired?".

"Hn-hm", I hummed.

"I'll give you a head massage after dinner, don't worry," she cooed.

I nodded my head.

I drank my tea and moved towards the hall together.

I played along with Aadya and Avi until night took over.

We had our dinner and shifted back to our room.

She changed into her night gown and sat on the bed.
She placed Aadya on her lap and forwarded the bottle of milk towards her mouth to feed her.

I placed my head beside her thigh on the pillow.

But I felt Aadya's leg hitting my face.

She whined while drinking her milk and Hridya muttered softly to her,

"Aise nai karte na betu, papa hai na."

She hit me again and Hridya muttered calmly,

"Papa ko pairr nahi lagate betu."

She whined again, repeating the same mistake and this time Hridya said her strictly,

"Gandi baat Aadya, daant paregi."

And Aadya immediately stopped doing her mischievous act.

I smiled, seeing the strict side of my daughter's mother.

After she finally slept, she placed Aadya on the bed.

She held my head with her soft hands and placed it on her lap.

Her fingers touched my hairs and I immediately closed my eyes feeling relaxed.

She kept on running her hands through my hairs and I slept peacefully.

The rays of sun were falling on my eyes through the window and I slowly opened my eyes.

I looked around and found just Aadya sleeping beside me. But suddenly when I looked on my pillow, it was actually Hridya's lap.

Shit!

How can I sleep the entire night on her lap.
Her back must be paining so badly.
Shit!

I sat up immediately and shook her slowly.
She whined in her sleep.
