Venomshank found out about the news of Sword not being loyal. He was angry. Angry. He walked through Lost Temple and stopped at his son's house. He then knocked at the door, and Sword answered.
Sword was surprised when Venomshank was here but didn't say a word. He let him in and led him to the kitchen. "I've heard the news," his father said seriously. Sword felt a bit confused but pretended like he knew what he was talking about. "You betrayed Rocket? How unloyal of you." His father looked at his son in disgust.
Sword felt upset, but he kept quiet. Venomshank would always do this to him as a kid, and he clenched his fists. He remembered when he tripped with a cup of tea. His dad yelled at him, and he would just stare at him.
Venomshank kept staring at his son. He was clearly upset and disgusted. Sword felt disappointed in himself and sighed. "You aren't loyal," Venomshank stated. He said it in a serious tone, and a shiver went down Sword's spine. "I am upset that you are my son," Venomshank mumbled. He walked out of the house and left Sword broken. Sword quickly locked the door and started crying.
This was no physical touch, but it hurt Sword mentally. It always did. Even now, Sword is still hurt by Venomshank.
Slingshot peeked his head out of the basement door. He saw Sword crying and left the basement. "Sword...," Slingshot said with sympathy. He hugged Sword, and Sword returned the hug. "I'm so sorry," Slingshot tried to comfort Sword, but nothing could honestly help. He watched it all happen, but he couldn't find the correct words.
When Sword was crying because of his dad, he would always call Rocket. Rocket always knew what to say to cheer him up, but now he was gone. Sword felt upset that Slingshot wasn't like Rocket, but he was thankful Slingshot was here to listen to him.
