Lilac peered into Shuriken's room. He wasn't there. What about the garden? Nope. The kitchen? Nah. Front yard? No! Where was he? Lilac didn't find him at home. She was detecting her protective system and quickly ran to a computer. She tried to ask Boombox again.

Lilac looked up from her computer and shook her head no. She grabbed a watering can and just watered the flowers while Shuriken was gone. Where could he be?

Shuriken breathed in the air. It smelled of the earth. Just what Shuriken wanted. He stared out into the sun. It was rising. The sky was orange, and Shuriken sat on a ledge. So close, yet so far from death. This was his old hangout place with Vine Staff. Together, they would peacefully chat with each other. "What's it like?" Shuriken asked, hoping Vine Staff would hear him. "To be... up there?"

       Music is a lie, forget, and trust none of the one who listens.

"What?" Shuriken suddenly felt awake. The warmth had appeared again, and he knew she was with him. He heard Vine Staff whisper that to him, but he didn't know what it meant. "Trust none of the one who listens?" Shuriken repeated. "What do you mean?" There was no reply.

He stood up and stared at the sun for a few more seconds before turning around. "Music is a lie...? Trust none...?" Shuriken felt dizzy. He was still upset and felt like he had to return home. Maybe a nap or something could help. He couldn't think straight.

"You're back!" Lilac happily greeted when she saw Shuriken open the entrance to the house. Shuriken smiled and waved at her.

"Hi...," he sighed and took off his shoes. Shuriken went upstairs to shower, and think more of Vine Staff's riddle.

Shuriken sat down in his bed and stared at the ceiling. "Music is a lie... forget... and trust none of the one who listens?" It confused him so much. What music? He loved music! He would always listen to it with his friends! Does that mean he couldn't trust them? What?
