Chapter 6.1: First Morning

"Hmmm."

I gently opened my eyes. Laking gulat ko sa nakita ko. Xander's face was too close.. He was inches away from me. Why is it that he looks so adorable when he's asleep?

But one thing's for sure, he was hugging me tighter like I was a stuffed toy. Gusto ko siya pagtripan.

"Hey Xander wake up. Tsansing ka na ha."

He flashed his eyes open. Gusto ko matawa as in dahil mukhang gulat na gulat siya. He even pushed me, but lucky me he pushed in the middle part of the bed and he fell, hard.

"W-what, why are you hugging me?!"

"Wow ha, ikaw nga itong biglang nangyakap kagabi dahil sabi mo ang kulet ko matulog. Feeler mo din e no?"

He looked away as if he was deep in thought. Nakita ko nanlaki mata niya.

"Remember now Mr. Evo?"

"That was only to keep you still. Wag ka feeling!"sabi niya sabay lakad papasok sa banyo.

What a morning.

Hindi ako bully ha, I just don't know why I'm fond of annoying Xander. I'm not usually like this but I can't help him, it's so fun teasing him.

I went downstairs to cook breakfast for the both of us. I prepped the ingredients. For breakfast: eggs, bacon and fresh orange juice.

A thought passed by.

Why would dad give us a condo and have only one bed for the both of us? Did the idea of something might happen between us ever hit him? Why would he even agree that we live in the same place before the wedding? Ano ba talaga gusto niya at ni tito Michael? It's really weird for a parent to do that to his own daughter, especially for his only daughter.

A lot of questions came into my mind. But all seemed so impossible.

"You cooked breakfast?"

"Yup. Eat up. I'll be leaving first."

"Okay."

I took my bag and keys from the living room table.

"Ingat laters Xander!" sabi ko at sinara ang pinto.

Xander's POV

Why the hell did I do that?! Sobra akong pagod kahapon at hindi ko na namalayan ginawa ko.

Sino ba naman kasi hindi maiinis sakanya? Ang kulet matulog! Gusto ko n asana sipain pa-alis ng kama.

Lumabas ako ng CR at nagbihis. Inayos ko mga gamit ko sa lamesa. Ang linis. Pinulot ko homework ko na hindi ko masagot sagutan kagabi. Nagulat nalang ako dahil may sagot na.

"Hannie.." bulong ko.

Bakit niya ginawa ito?

Is it possible that she's different?

I shook my head. Impossible.

Bumaba ako dahil ang bango sa baba! I smell eggs and bacon. Is she cooking?

Nabigla ako, nagluto nga siya. Well, what a perk may taga luto na ako.

Hindi ko siya masyado pinansin at kumain lang. Bakit pa? May pag-uusapan ba kami tungkol sa school para makipag usap ako? Well what a first morning for us.

It's in my policy na wag makipagusap sa mga babae na hindi ko ka ano-ano kung hindi ito tungkol sa school.

I continued eating my breakfast, she really is good cook. Plus she's really intelligent and kind.

But they're all the same, girls.
