Chapter 12: A Little Bonding

Hannie's POV

"I'm Sorry." Halos manginig ako sa hawak niya, parang may kuryente na dumaloy sa akin. Hindi ko din alam kung bakit nakangisi na ako. I think I'm overjoyed seeing this side of him.

"Forgiven." I turned around to face him. "But can you atleast tell me why you're like that."

He looked away. "I can't"

"Fine. Just stop being such an asshole."

I gently removed his grip and walked away. I'm not mad, atleast he apologized.

"Nga pala, hindi ko aakalaain na nag mamartial arts kaibigan mo?"

Napatigil ako at tinignan siya. "Why?"

"She kicked me," sabi niya habang tinuturo iyong sugat sa may labi niya. Ngayon ko lang napansin!

I offered to treat his wound but he refused. Bumaba nalang daw ako para makasama mga kaibigan ko.

"Yo, ano ginawa niyo? Did you fight? I can hear your argument Nie," Snow asked.

"Hindi ko alam doon. Lagi nalang mainit ulo sa akin. Minsan mabait tapos mamaya biglang inis na inis sa akin. Talo pa ako pag meron ako."

"Wait ahh. Commercial lang, Nie you just spoke tagalog," singit ni Lia.

"And so?"

"In a complete sentence!! You barely speak in tagalog. What did your fiancée do to you?"

I raised an eyebrow at her. "Okay?"

Then she laughed.

"Did you forget Nie? He's distant to girls not related to him," Snow explained.

"That's the question, why? He doesn't even want to tell me. I'm his fiancée for pete's sake."

"Bakit inis ka? I thought there's nothing going on between the two of you? Everything's just an agreement, right? Maka 'I'm his fiancée' ka, seryoso na ba kayo sa isa't isa?"

"Huh? No, Lia! Kahit pa-paano naman kasi I want to get to know him. We are getting married come on."

They didn't answer instead they burst out laughing. Ang weird talaga nila!

I left them to laugh their butts of in the living room and took some snacks from the cupboard. I was about to walk towards them when I suddenly felt a pang in my head again.

"Urghh.." I gently massaged my forehead but the pain kept on growing. My vision became blurry and my body became heavier.

"Hannie? Hannie!"

Then everything went black.

"Hmm.." I opened my eyes and stretched my arms. I feel so stiff.

"You okay Nie?" Snow/Lia

"What happened?"

"You fainted. You're still burning Nie. You should rest. We'll visit tomorrow."

"You both carried me?" I asked while rubbing my eyes.

"No way! Ang bigat bigat mo kaya. Your fiancée carried you," Lia said while pointing Xander who looked away.

"Diba nasa taas ka Xander bakit nasa kusina ka?"

"Nagutom 'yong tao e. Bakit ba? Ikaw lang may karapatan sa kusina?" Napanganga nalang ako. Ang sungit talaga!
