Chapter 25: Confrontation

Hannie's POV

I felt a weight on me again. I flashed my eyes open and I my breathing became heavy. Seryoso alam kong hindi na ako magulo matulog! Bakit ganito?? He's hugging me again!

"Uhh Xander.."

"Hmm..." tulog mantika talaga siya.

I cooked him breakfast and woke him up after. We ate breakfast quietly as usual. He insisted on the carpool idea and I agreed in the end, tipid na din sa pamasahe. Malaki pa naman sumingil ang mga taxi kahit may metro sila.

"I'll wait for you here later?" He asked while texting.

"Yeah, sure." Hindi pa ako nakalayo sa paglalakad nang sumigaw siya at tumakbo papunta sa akin. I felt sudden glares of his so called fans.

"Number mo, para itext kita incase hindi tayo sabay umuwi." He handed me his phone and I started to type my number on it. I heard their whispers once more..

"OMG he asked for her number! This can't be!"

"Ang swerte ni Nie! She's the first girl that Xander walked up to like this!"

"Ang landi ano kaya pinakain niyan kay Prince Xander at nilapitan siya? Baka bilinackmail!"

"There." I awkwardly handed him his phone back. If they knew that he changed maybe they'll fall for him even more.

I walked alone along the corridors of the campus to my room. There were only a few people in the room so I slumped down on my chair and put my arms on the table and rested my head. Tutal maaga pa naman, idlip muna ako.

"Goodmorning Nie!" 

I wanted to get mad, naistorbo tulog ko, but I won't.

"Morning Alex."

"Aga mo ngayon ah!" 

I forgot to mention, we're in the same class. Halos lahat na din ng klase ko nandoon siya.

"Yea.." I yawned. "You too?"

"Haha wanted to see yo-"

"Nie-Nie!" Ryo ran towards us and handed me a bouquet of roses. Parang walang nangyari kahapon at ganito siya kumilos. Kung dati halos mamatay ako sa kilig ngayon hindi na. I felt scared around him, scared of saying the wrong things and getting physically hurt.

"Ryo.."

"Dude get out of that seat, tabi kami ni Nie-Nie." He rudely commanded Alex.

"Seatmate kami. Why would I leave?" Alex sarcastically answered. Ryo silenced for a second. I felt the tension between them.

"I'm her boyfriend. Now leave."

"Exboyfriend." Alex grinned. 

"Hinahamon mo ba ako?" 

I bit my inner cheek. I hated this scene! Bakit bas a tuwing nandito si Ryo may ganitong eksena! Umagang umaga kumukulo dugo ko!

"Alex, sorry for his rudeness," I bowed at Alex and pulled Ryo away. "Ryo let's go."

When we arrived at the back of the gym he gave me a tight hug. "Ohh how I missed you Nie-Nie!"

Pumiglas ako sa yakap niya. He gave me a confused look. It's now or never, my confrontation.
