"Pass please." A very large security guard stated.

"Uh, yeah. Sure. Here" I handed him the card from around my neck, shaking the whole time. He smiled sympathetically.

"First time backstage, huh?" I nodded. "Big tip. Don't scream. Nobody likes that." I graciously thanked him, and headed in the door. "Third door on the right is where they'll be." He smiled again.

"Thank you!" I smiled and slowly made my way into the room.

They were all sitting on a couch, talking and laughing. They didn't notice I came in. Finally, Harry looked up.

"Oh! Hi, how are you?" He smiled and got up to shake my hand.

"Grand, and you?" I loved their accents, so original. And rather attractive.

"Oh, grand. Did you guys hear that? I like her." He said backwards to the rest of them. They all laughed, but, quite frankly, I didn't get it. "I'm doing fine. Would you like to sit?" He answered my question.

"Sure, um..."

"Right here is fine." He motioned to a little loveseat next to Niall. He looked up and waved. His lips turning up into a slight smile.

"Uh, hi." He said, his cheeks turning a slight shade of red. What is it that makes him blush so much? I smiled to myself a little. It was actually kind of adorable.

"Hello. How are you?" I asked him nicely.

"Grand." He answered. A full blown smile creeping onto his face.

"I don't get it, what's so funny?" I asked, although I was smiling too.

"We just don't hear an actual answer very often. Most of the time it's silence, or screaming." They all laughed at what he said. I couldn't help but giggle a little too.

"I guess that makes a little sense." They all nodded.

"Well, um. In case you didn't know. This is Zayn, Liam, Louis, Niall, and, well. I'm Harry." They all waved and said a little hi. I couldn't help but laugh.

"Yeah, I kind of knew." I joked. I was glad they were funny.

"That's good. Now that we're past the awkward intro phase. You want to eat? We're all starved." Niall jumped in.

"Um. Sure. Do you guys have fried pickles, just by chance?" They all looked at each other weird. Great. For all I know, they could be like, total anti-pickle-eaters.

"Well. No, but. If we go somewhere... Is that something people normally eat around here?" Niall questioned.

"Well, mainly down south, I suppose. But I really love them. I kind of forgot you aren't from around here. It's cool. We can eat whatever you guys want, I'm kind of picky, so I'll just let you guys choose." I'm actually incredibly picky. This kind of made me laugh at myself.

"Oh, we don't really care. We actually don't really know much about New York. So, maybe you could show us around?" Niall asked. He had a hint of hope in his voice. What was that about?

"Well sure! Do you guys mind walking? It's a lot faster than trying to drive around here." They all nodded and stood up. I took the hint and stood as well. "How much time do we have?" I asked.

"We've got at least 5 hours." Niall paused, "but, you don't have to stay out that late if you don't want," he added.

"Oh no, it's no big deal. My mom and I got a hotel next door, for that purpose." I said.
