Chapter 12 ~ It's Complicated

I wake up in the arms of Kyle. He was so warm as I held him tight.

"Good Morning Alex", he says.

"Oh? So you were awake?", I yawn.

"Yeah. I didn't wanna wake you so I thought I'd just let you sleep", he says.

"You weren't drunk yesterday were you?", I ask.

"No Alex, everything I said still stands. Friends with Benefits", he says.

"Very well", I say.

"Yup and now we continue our regular lives, I'm gonna meet Jessica in a bit", he says.

"Oh?", I say.

"Don't look so sad. Last night was amazing. Can't wait to do it again. So hows things with Stefan?", he asks.

"Oh crap. I completely forgot about him", I say in shock.

"You shouldn't, he's a nice guy and you both would make a cute couple.", says Kyle.

"Yeah. I'll give him a call later", I say as Kyle gets off the bed and I stare at the perfect ass.

I lay in bed thinking, Stefan really is a nice guy, he's sweet and romantic and he's the type that I could settle down with. What I've realized is the guys of today were nothing like they were 10 years ago. I stretched and got off my bed and head to my phone. I pick it up to see a message from Stefan.

~Stefan~ I had a great time today, just spending time with you is amazing. I hope to do it again. Message me later Juliet?

I hold my head in shame as I read that. Now he's gonna think I'm not interested in him. I decided to message him back.

~Alex~ Good Morning beautiful.

~Stefan~ Alex. Hey. Good Morning.

~Alex~ What's up?

~Stefan~ Gonna head to work in a bit. Angel isn't around so I gotta collect the inventory and pack them up. Wish me luck?

~Alex~ I'll send you a kiss Romeo.

~Stefan~ Kiss collected. I'm almost there. Message me later?

~Alex~ Sure. Hope you have a great day Romeo.

~Stefan~ Thank you, Juliet.

I decided to go to meet him at the club. I guess Angel won't be there so I can sneak in and help him with the inventory. I guess it's the least I can do. I grab my towel and headed to the shower. I find Alex inside brushing his teeth.

"Where are you going in such a hurry?", he asks with toothpaste in his mouth.

"To meet Stefan", I smile.

"Yes. We're both going to meet our bae's?", he says high fiving me.

"Not bae's yet", I tease as I enter the shower.

"We'll shower together. I'll be late.", he says as he finishes up.

"I can wait till you are done?", I say.

"Your still shy. Come on Alex. We had sex. Showering together really isn't a big deal", he says as he enters the shower.

"Okay", I say as he turns the shower on.

Warm water came streaming down unto him.

"Plus. After last night there's no possible way I'll ever let you shower alone", he says in a sympathetic voice.
