Plan A 2.0

Avery's eyes snapped up to meet Ed's as she lowered her voice to whisper,
"How do you know this?"
Ed glanced at the door before replying, mirroring her hushed tone,
"Last night, Envy snuck out to meet someone. I was awake and I saw him leave. I followed him and I saw him meet up with Gluttony, another Homunculus. I listened in and heard him telling everything we had talked about to the fat pig. I expect that tonight he's going to meet with Gluttony again and tell him our plan to send you in and kidnap Hunter."
Anger and venom laced Ed's voice as he spoke. Avery took a deep breath before smirking slightly,
"Perfect."
She whispered, an idea flashing in her eyes as Ed gave her a questioning look,
"What do you mean?"
"Think about it, Ed. They'll be expecting us to do what I said. But, if I change the plan and don't tell Envy they'll never know about it. I can take them by surprise and throw everyone off. Does Greed know?"
Ed shook his head,
"I don't think so. I haven't mentioned anything to him at least."
Avery nodded in thought,
"Alright. Bring the boys back in. I have a new plan that only the 8 of us will know about."
Ed nodded before going to the door and motioning for the others to enter. After they filtered in, Ed closed the door and locked it. Avery smiled at the blonde,
"Thank you, Ed."
Then I directed my attention to my supernatural protectors,
"I need to tell you something. And you can't act on what I'm about to say. No one but us can know."
The boys all nodded, confused, before she continued,
"Envy is going to betray us. He is in league with Father and will most likely try and kill me or keep me with Hunter as a hostage. That being said, Ed and I have agreed on a tweaking the original plan. Plan A 2.0 if you will, and Envy is not to know anything. None of us can let on that we know what he is. Is that clear?"
Avery explained quietly, looking to the boys for an answer. Chen was the first to speak, his tone cold and stoic,
"You think he'd kill you?"
Avery nodded,
"I believe he would try something to that extent to remove me from the picture, which would then force Rose to have to go find Hunter herself. Which is why all of you will be there with me every step of the way."
The vampires blinked in confusion while the werewolves tilted their heads in confusion. Tao was the first to voice his confusion,
"What?"
Avery smirked deviously before explaining her plan to the seven boys before her.

"Do you really think this will work?"
Baekhyun asked, doubt heavy in his words. Avery nodded,
"I do. I believe that this can work. As long as everyone knows what to do."
She looked expectantly at each boy who in turn nodded their understanding. The young thief smiled,
"Great! Now let's go see when Envy wants to infiltrate and get Hunter."
The others nodded in agreement as they began filtering out of the room and down the hall to the living room to find Envy lazily sitting in a large burgundy chair in the corner of the room. When he saw Avery his eyes lit up, then diminished as he saw the others,
"Hello, Avery. Is there something you need?"
He asked casually, eyeing The young girl carefully as she sat down on the black couch next to him. She looked around the room before turning to him,
"Where are Greed and Rose?"
"They went out. She had to get something and he insisted on going with her."
"Alright. By the way, I want to know when you want to go get Hunter. I mean, the sooner the better right?"
Avery inquired, meeting eyes with the green haired boy before her as she spoke. Something flashed in his violet eyes as he responded smoothly,
"True. I say we go tomorrow night. Make sure we have everything all figured out before we go in. Odds are we'll only have one shot so there isn't room to screw up."
Perfect
Avery thought before she leaned slightly closer to him,
"Of course, Envy,"
She stressed the "E" slightly as she continued speaking,
"I just wanted to make sure we were on the same page before I did anything. I wouldn't want to not inform you of what I'm thinking and then you make the wrong move."
Avery said gently, putting on her best innocent face in the hopes that Envy would take the bait. He did,
"Well if you want to tell me anything, don't hesitate to stop by my room or find me around the house. I'll talk to you any time."
Envy said, attempting to casually flirt with the young thief. Avery smiled charmingly before nodding in understanding,
"I'll come find you then. Thank you Envy."
She said shyly, pretending to be taken in by him before Kris went over and pulled Avery away,
"We'd love to stay and chat but Avery and I have to talk."
Kris said gruffly, pulling the girl away from the Homunculus as the others followed him,
"Bye Envy!"
Avery waved slightly to him as he chuckled,
"Bye Avery."
He said as he watched her disappear deeper into the house. Once he was sure she had gone his smile dropped and he sighed,
How long will I have to keep this up? It doesn't matter. She won't be a problem after tomorrow night
The green hair boy smirked to himself sadistically as he waited for Rose and Greed to return.
