Chapter 26: Don't Leave Me

2am

I hear mY phone ringing and I groan stirring from my sleep.

I take in my surroundings. Charlotte and Jason upstairs in my room, again.

Hanna and Caleb crashed on the airmatress,

Not sure where Aria and Ezra crashed.

Emily and Alison are crashed on the floor while Kelsey and Ethan take the couch.

Marco and I cuddled on the other air mattress.

"Hello?" i groggily say into my phone

"Is this Spencer Hastings?"

"Yes this is she. Who is this?" I ask, trying to clear my throat.

"I am Kim calling from Rosewood Hospital. You are listed here in the emergency contact list"

Panick rushes through me.

Is it my parents? Melissa? Her kids?

"For who?" i ask

"Toby Cavanaugh. We would've called his fiancée but she is also in the ER. You and your mother were recently added back as emergency contact.  We have contacted his fiancée's family and are doing so to you now" she explains and i freeze

"What happened to Toby?" I ask

"I'm not supposed to disclose this type of information over the phone " she tells me

"I understand, can you at least tell me if he isalright?" i spit out, finding it hard to breathe

"He is alright. You should probably come down here though"

"Thank you" i say quickly and hang up.

"Spence what happened to Toby?" Emily asks stirring in her sleep and the tears fall from my eyes

"He got into a car accident with Yvonne"

"What?" She gasps

"He came here, tried to make peace, i rejected him then he got into a car with Yvonne and got into a accident" i say feeling responsible

"Oh Spence"  she sighs

"We have to go now. I want to see him" i say as i grab my phone and purse.

"I'm coming too. Are you waking anyone else?" She asks me, standing

"No" I shake my head as I run upstairs her following behind.

"Toby Cavanaugh" i say to the lady at the front desk

Emily leans on the wall holding her coffee and mine.

"You could've stayed behind if you were still tired Em"

"I wasn't gonna let you come alone. I just gotta drink some of my coffee" she nods

"That way, room 32" she points

I rush down the hall and into the room with the Em following me.

I see Toby laying on the bed with stitches on his head and a cast around his arm.

"Toby!" i gasp as i enter the room

"Spencer!" He breathed a sad look on his face.

"What the hell happened?"

"We were driving... I wasn't paying attention for a few seconds and a car came out of no where , tried to swerve out of the way and ended up crashing straight into a tree."
