chapter 9

Karthik's POV

I had dinner at Eiffel tower with Kavya. Later when I returned to my room, I saw Shanaya had taken up the bed, and left me a cushion and blanket at the couch. Soon I went into deep slumber.

Next day

I got ready before Kavya, again today, and was sitting on the couch and working on my laptop. That's when Shanaya came out, today she hadn't worn a short or t-shirt but she had worn a floral dress. She looked nice in it but not as much as Kavya. "Bye Karthik."

"Shanaya..." Man not again, she can't walk away every time I am about to ask or tell her something. Today she will listen to me, so I ran behind her blocked her way, and asked"where are going?"

"Why do I tell you Karthik?" "Cause you don't have any option Shanaya, I won't let you go till you don't tell me, you walk away every time I am going to ask you something!" "Oh so Karthik your ego is hurt?"

"No it's not"
"Yes it is"
"No"
"Yes"
"No.. fine it is!"

"It's good that you confessed Karthik, cause of you would not have I wouldn't have told you, anyways I am going on this tour by la France, to see all the places of Paris."

Even I am going, but alone cause Kavya wants to go to the spa or something alone, so I decided to go on a tour. "Shanaya listen.. uhm you can come with me, even I am going on that tour." "I would have joined you Karthik, but I won't, because your girlfriend gives me these really weird looks, and it makes me feel weird, so I will go on my own."

"Shanaya firstly Kavya doesn't give weird looks, and secondly she is not coming with me today, so..." Great so now she listens to me but cuts me through half sentences, "REALLY! Then let's go." She literally screamed, and dragged me, she is weird, no really weird. A minute ago she didn't want to come, and now she is dragging me, great.

The bus had already arrived, so we took our seats. Then we were handed out  itenary, and it read...

1.Trinite
2. Opera 
3. Pont-Neuf
4. Musee du Louvre
5. Eiffel tower

Shanaya's POV

We had reached our first destination which was Trinite, the church looked beautiful. As soon as we entered we got this really nice feeling, at least I got the positive vibe. I again convinced Karthik to take a selfie, which he took after a lot of pleading. Then I prayed to god, that our marriage works out.

Then we stopped at Opera house. Which looked magnificent. I took a selfie with Karthik and a lot of photos there too.

Everyone who was with us was tired and hungry, so we decided to have lunch and then we could continue. So now we are sitting in this cafe/restaurant, waiting for our order to be served, and I am kind of mad at Karthik because he is chatting with Kavya, you are supposed to be talking to me is what I wanted to say. But instead without telling him anything I took out my phone, went through my insta and Snapchat account.

"Shanaya the foods here keep your home down." I kept my phone down and started eating, I was half way through my meal when my phone buzzed. I started chatting on my phone, "Shanaya eat your food, and chat with whomever you are chatting later." "Really Karthik someone who is busy on their phone 24*7 is telling this to me, and I am chatting with my friend after a long time, he messaged me after long so I was replying." "It's a he?" "Oh my god are you jealous Karthik?" "God Shanaya keep your fantasies to yourself, why will I be jealous, I was just confirming, and eat fast we have to catch the bus." "Ya right."

We completed our lunch and headed towards pont-neuf. It's a bridge where you put lock for your relationship with your better half. But instead of one lock that two of us put together, only I went and put one for our relation. As Karthik had to attend a call, and he anyways would not have agreed. The view of the river form the bridge was really nice.

Now only two more stops to go. We soon reached the Louvre museum. It was evening time more over dusk. So the view we got is something that I will never forget. I obviously clicked a lot of photos.

Now we are at our final destination which is Effile tower, and this time I am with someone. Now it even feels a bit like a honeymoon. The view of Paris was amazing from the top of Eiffel tower, Eiffel tower was also lit. I clicked a lot of selfies, which slightly pissed of Karthik, but I used the excuse of showing our parents the photos. It wasn't completely dark, but yet the lighting looked really nice.

Finally we had reached our hotel. Karthik went to meet his darling as she was missing him. His words not mine. I felt hungry so I had my dinner and went off to sleep remembering today's day.

So I tried to give a honeymoon type feel. I hope you like it. I will now post the next chapter by tomorrow. I'll then take care 😊
