Hehe, *sips tea*

You just got played.

I looked over my shoulder and I see Ricardo quickly looking down as he muttered 'sorry', but masking his real voice. I roll my eyes and look back to the waiter.

He's staring at him and I have to clear my throat for his attention. "I'll have chicken strips and fries, thank you." I force a smile. My attitude changed real quick knowing one of them are here. I pass him the menu and look towards Vlad. "Surprise me." He says and then looks towards his drink and takes it, while taking a tiny sip, but then downing the whole glass. "And more of this."

"Yes boss." He quickly leaves and I take a deep breath in while I get comfortable on the seat. "How many men work for you. Clearly you have men working for you, but like, I guess you can say 'undercover'." I said air quoting undercover while taking a sip from my tea.

"I rather not say. Not until I know your name." He said while he played with the empty glass while looking at me.

"Mhm. Don't trust me?" I raised an eyebrow.

"There's many people I don't trust, including you. You never know." He said as he face was turning dark, and his eyes slowly turning emotionless.

"Why, I clearly don't even know my name. How can you not trust me? I'll probably forget what we were talking about."

"Why do you want know? Mhm, for that guy that walked in. Or should I say one of Vincenzo's men." Now his face went completely blank while he sits back and stares at me. My heart complete dropped while I breathed out in a whoosh.

"W-who?" My hand clamped harder around the glass and my muscles tensed.

"We've been through this before Ever. Vincenzo always plays the same cards. Nothing new. Same trick, same thing. It's not hard for me to see his men. It's not like he hides his men good. And this, this is childs play.  You set yourself up by drinking the tea, that my men just drugged. You just sent yourself up by coming with me. Like come on. I thought that the guy was smarter. I had you looked up the minute you went with Vincenzo to Leo. My men are everywhere. My eyes are everywhere. I have eyes on everyone. No one is unseen. Like Vincenzo. So, good night."

My body was turning limp and I couldn't knock myself out of it. I started to relax my hand and slump against the chair and my eyes started to turn droopy.

"I...i...."

"No. Go asleep, I'll make sure Vincenzo knows." I heard yelling and I looked at Vlad and see him standing up pulling out a gun from his waist band. "I'll make sure." He aimed it at me but my head slammed down, making me sleep.

"Where are you now?" I asked as I walked towards the balcony looking out to the ocean.

"Well, Ricardo went in, and I'm still waiting outside." Edwards said.

"Well, get her out of there. I don't want her there anymore. Take her out now." I clicked and clenched my jaw as I held the railing.
