A few hours later

Gabriel

''What do you mean you need me to come pick you up? Don't you drive to work?'' I said to Faith as I gazed over at Luke and Matthew. They were sitting on the couch next to each other as they spoke, occasional later leaving their mouths as they talked about numerous things.

''Are you even listening to me? Stop fuckin' staring at Luke and listen!'' Faith yelled at me through the phone. I shook my head as I broke my gaze off of Luke, turning away and furrowing my eyebrows at her statement.

''What is it.''

''Those fuckin' white girls are messin' with me again, Gabe. They took my clothes and ran off once their shift was over. So I'm standing here with nothing but a-''

''I got it, I got it. I don't care what you're wearing. Why do they keep messing with you?'' I asked her as I walked into my bedroom, making my way over to my dresser and pulling open the drawer. I pulled out a band t-shirt and a pair of my jeans as she began to ramble about the girls.

''I don't know. I think it's because I'm getting paid more than them or something. It's not my fault I'm a better dancer!'' She said to me. I couldn't help but roll my eyes... sometimes her confidence hurts. I hope I don't sound like that.

''I'll be over in a bit. I got Luke and his brother here. It's a long story-''

''Seriously? Matthew Ivy?''

''...Yeah.''

She stayed silent for a few moments. Even us Lancasters knew how insane that was, even though we didn't belong to the Ivy's church. Matthew's disappearance was a big thing back in the day, even though nobody tried to go find the kid. Melody was torn about it... she still is to this day. We really should tell her he's back as soon as we can.

''You got a lot to tell me when you get here, boy.''

She hung up without another word. I took a deep breath as I gazed out into the living room, the sound of Matthew and Luke's laughter filling my ears once more.

''Alright you two, I gotta go give something to Faith real quick. I shouldn't be too long, alright?'' I said to them as I walked towards the front door, leaning down and reaching for my motorcycle keys. Luke let out a whine of protest as he stood up from the couch, causing me to furrow my eyebrows.

''Can I come? I want to see Faith!'' He exclaimed as he walked over to me. I watched as Matthew raised an eyebrow at him, slinging his arm over the couch with a soft smile lingering on his lips. God... he could already tell something is going on between us, can't he?

''Blondie, I gotta go to her work-''

''I don't mind!''

How am I supposed to tell him what she does for a living? I don't think he even knows that stripping is an industry. I know that he won't be judgemental or anything... but I don't want him to have a fucking stroke or some shit like that. The kid will probably combust at seeing a set of tits.

''I really don't mind, I could stay here by myself. I haven't slept on a couch or an actual bed in ages.'' Matthew said to me. He let out a deep yawn afterward, stretching his arms out and flashing me a soft smile. I couldn't help but furrow my eyebrows, feeling the smirk linger on my lips.

''When we come back you better be asleep on that couch. Don't steal any of my shit.'' I said to him playfully, watching as Luke pulled his jacket on over his shoulders. He had a soft smile lingering on his lips, his face a light pink color. I couldn't help but smile myself. He really was in a good mood.
