The video above is an orchestra piece that one of you guys have created for me. This piece shows the book from beginning to end. The artist would like to say,

'It has dark tones and upbeat tones to represent Lukes's life, like some parts, would be sadder or more upsetting than others, while sometimes there would be upbeat moments like seeing Gabriel.'

It's beautiful and really captures... the whole book. I'd really suggest watching it. It kinda made me cry.

A few days later

Luke

We sat with each other at a restaurant he wanted to spend the night at. Tonight was the last night we were spending in Vegas, and I have to admit, I was going to miss it. I know that we are going to come back next year, but... I had a lot of fun.

Lots of things happened here that will change me forever. I'm not saying what happened was bad... in fact, they were really good. I loved every second I spent with Gabriel, his family, and my friends. I learned new things about myself and I'm continuing to. Gabriel helped me a lot with it... but so did my friends. Gabriel's family.

He looked nervous as he tapped his foot against the floor, taking a sip of his iced tea as he tried not to maintain eye contain with me. I couldn't help but smile at his shyness, taking my water in my hand and taking a sip of it before he spoke.

''It's just me, you know. We have been on a date before.''

''It's not that, sweetheart.'' He said with a smile, meeting my eyes once more. I couldn't help but flush as he looked at me, his dark eyes giving me a look of amusement. He wore his hair down tonight, a black button-up and black pants. He wore his chain by his side also. A typical Gabriel look.

''What's wrong?'' I asked him. He broke his gaze away from me once more, looking down at the food that sat in front of him. He began shaking his head as he took a shaky breath, suddenly standing up from his seat and holding a hand out to me.

''Come on, I wanna talk to you about something.'' He said. I put my hand in his as he suddenly took my hand, guiding me out the front doors of the restaurant without another word. I couldn't help but feel my stomach drop at the sudden gesture of Gabriel- was he mad at me? He seemed so tense...

It was pretty out that night. The lights of Las Vegas shined brightly as the sound of cars driving past us filled my ears, the sound of music from clubs down the street also playing in the background as he guided me to the small dock that sat next to the restaurant. There was a somewhat bigger pond surrounded by a ton of flowers, along with a tree sitting next to it. It was really pretty...

He took my hands in his, directing my attention to him once more again.

''It's nothing bad, sweetheart. Stop shaking. I promise you're okay.'' Gabriel said, a hint of amusement in his voice as he brought my hands up to his lips. I couldn't help but laugh as my hands shook in his own, Gabriel's soft laughter following mine as the sound of the pond filled my ears.

''I'm sorry! I just don't want you to be upset!'' I said, a giggle escaping my throat as he placed my hands back down at my sides.

I wasn't upset. I was far from upset.

He suddenly reached his hand in his own pocket, pulling out a small, black velvet box. His breath hitched as he looked in my direction once more, his pierced lips curling into a smile as he noticed my eyes widening.

''Yet again, sweetheart... It's not a proposal.''

I couldn't help but place a hand over my mouth as he opened the box in front of me. It was a smaller, gray ring that was very simple. He took the ring out of the box, taking the hand from my mouth and placing it my hand. He still held my hand as he took a shaky breath.

''This is a promise ring. People buy promise rings for each other when they want to promise themselves to the person they are with. It's promising that they will get married in the future, regardless of when that might be.'' He started.

''...I want to give this to you. I want this to symbolize my love and commitment to you. I want to promise that one day we will be married. Whatever time that may be... I'm yours. And you're mine.''

''You don't have to accept this, sweetheart. Nothing will change between us. I will put it away for when you're ready to accept it, I promise. I... I'm in love with you, Luke.''

I couldn't stop the tears that flooded from my eyes. Gabriel instantly began wiping the tears from them, letting out a soft sigh as he placed a kiss on my forehead.

''I know they are happy tears, baby.''

''They are! I-I'm in love with you too, Gabriel!''

''Really?''

''I love you so much, Gabriel. I love you more than you'll ever know. I'm not ashamed of it. I know what I have for you isn't manmade. You're who I'm supposed to be with for the rest of life. God made you for me.'' I went on. I took ahold of Gabriel's shirt, pulling him closer to me as the words flooded past my lips.

''God things it's beautiful... and I know that now. You're mine and I'm yours. I'm in love with you. Completely, hopelessly in love with you.''

''I...I accept the promise ring. I promise myself to you. We will get married one day, a-and have a ton of kids!-''

''Okay, let's not get ahead of ourselves, Luke!'' Gabriel said with a delighted laugh. I instantly held my palm out to Gabriel for him to take the ring, him picking it up once more and sliding it onto my finger. I felt the tears welling up in my eyes as I gazed down at the ring, making eye contact with him once more as I pulled him into a soft kiss, mumbling 'I love yous' against his mouth.

I finally pulled myself away from my lips, gazing at him with a soft smile as the realization hit me. I looked back at the restaurant with furrowed eyebrows, meeting his eyes once more as I asked him the question that flooded my head.

''Do you think they are going to think we left without paying?''

''No, they know what I'm doing. I planned this out.''

I kissed him again. His mouth was hot against mine as I pulled myself up on the tips of my toes, taking ahold of the collar of his shirt as I pulled him closer to me. He placed a supporting hand on my back as he kissed me back, his lips curled into a soft smile.

''I love you, Gabriel. I love you.''

''I love you so much more...''

''Not possible."
