Damon fed Elena his blood. When Niklaus kills her, she'll come back as a vampire. Forced to live an eternity of hunger and shadows. Elijah's elixir will not work now.
Every creature has the souls it is forced to live. A human, has one soul. But a vampire, has two. And a Guardian has 4 - human, vampire, werewolf and witch, provided that they are triggered. I, have 2 - human and witch.
I crumple up the paper from my diary and throw it out the window. I know I have to do it. But is it bad that I don't want to? I want Niklaus dead, but how can I not pay the price? Groaning, I make my way to tell Stefan, he deserves to know what I've planned. Rushing downstairs, I walk out by the corner to bash into him, just like old times. The irony.
"Easy" he steadies me with a small frown.
"Broody I-"
"I'm ready" I hear Elena come up from behind Stefan with a heavy sigh.
And just as suddenly, I'm struck by how stupid I was going to be. Stefan will have Elena. That's all he needs. And Damon will have Elena too, that's all he cares about anyway.
"What's wrong Kat?" my twin frowns at me. Plastering a sad smile, I shake my head as I nudge her into a hug.
"Phesmatos tribum nas ex viras vinculo vita" I chant under my breath, praying Stefan won't notice. But seems like he does because when I withdraw from Elena, he cocks his head "What was that?"
"It was a protection spell" I don't completely lie - the spell will protect my sister "-seems like you're both going out on a little trip, so I was being careful" I smile.
They nod, walking off hand-in-hand for something Stefan has planned.
"Broody!" I call out.
"Hm?"
"Goodbye"
Thinking of something else, he purses his lips into an urgent smile and waves me to me from door "Bye Viv"
Waiting till they're voices fade, I sludge upstairs and sit on Stefan's bed as I start writing whatever I wouldn't be able to tell him later.
