Chapter 44

[Yuki's POV]

The ray of the sunlight flashes to my face when I open my eyes after having a good sleep. Yesterday was tiring but whenever I'm beside her, I never get tired of anything.

Me: "Mika?"

When I open my eyes, I found myself alone in the bed. I immediately wrapped myself to look for her in the room, but she was nowhere to be found.

Where is she?

I was getting confused, am I dreaming? NO!

I can still feel her warmth. I can clearly remember what really happened yesterday... last night. I grab my phone and immediately called her but it was unreachable.

Is there something that happened? Why did she suddenly leave?

I get myself ready to find here and check out but the front desk said that it was already settled. I keep on calling her as I drive back to our house but still it was unreachable. I leave a text message and a voice message hoping that she will listen and read it.

When I arrived home, I immediately go upstairs, straight to the room where she stays but it was already empty, clean, and all back to normal.

Mayu: "Nii-chan, you're back"

Me: "Where's Mika?"

Mayu: "Ahmmm ano..."
