Chapter 53

[Mika's POV]

I was awakened when I heard my phone alarm and when I look at it, it's already 10 in the morning and my alarm snooze off for the 20th time.

I look at the other side of my bed and the man who was lying there was already gone. I guess he already left. But why I am not in the study, as far as I remember, I was in my study room but how I end up waking up in here. Did I go here before I fall asleep?

Geez, it doesn't matter but this sleep is the most comfortable one after two months.

I get up and ready myself to prepare breakfast slash snacks and start my day.

Masa: "Oh, good morning, just in time... the breakfast is ready."

I blink a lot of time to make sure that I wasn't still dreaming. But I guess I'm not. I thought he already left.

I am seated on the barstool across the island of my kitchen as I'm watching him putting the breakfast on the plates. I was surprised maybe because, for a long time, I was alone here.
