[Mika's POV]

After taking the lunch, our preparation for the ball started. Since hair and make-up can eat up a lot of time for me compared to Masa.

Thankfully, I get enough sleep despite staying up all night thinking of what happened these past few days.

[4 hours later]

Masa: "Are you ready?"

For the last time, I took a glance at myself in the mirror to make sure everything is fine before I look at the man standing behind me.

Me: "Yeah, let's go" - I give him a smile as I take the hands he offers.

Well, it's been almost 4 months since I'm engaged with him, and as time passed by, I learned that he was a great man.

[Arrival at the ball venue]

When we arrive at the hall, I really don't want it but we get the center of attraction after we entered the place.

Man: "So the rumors were true that the both of you were engaged, congratulations!"

The news really has its wings. Geez.
