MIA POV:

"Happy Third Birthday Yelena!" Everyone yelled.

She blew out her candles and clapped.

My sons were the only males present.

Carlos was too busy dealing with people stealing his drugs to celebrate our daughter's birthday.

Emilio, my eldest son was the one who was mostly there for Yelena when Carlos wasn't.

I knew that he'd be a great father when he was older.

Emilio, 14, Romeo, 13, Alvero, 11, Amalo, 10, Xavier 9.

"Yelena, look who's here," I said.

She turned her head and smiled to see Romeo walk in with a puppy.

She smiled and cheered.

Romeo brung her towards Yelena and let Yelena hug her.

"What are you going to name her?" Amalo asked Yelena.

Yelena stared at him blankly.

"Toast," She answered.

"Toast?" Emilio questioned, laughing.

Yelena was always a fast learner.

Learning how to speak wasn't much of a struggle for her either.

"I want to sleep," She said, rubbing her eyes.

I watched as Emilio picked her up and walked her out of the room.

"Can I sleep with you, brother?" I heard Yelena ask.

"Not tonight, Adrian is coming over," He answered.

- EMILIO POV :

After I changed her into her pajamas I laid her down in her very pink bed and tucked her in.

"Don't go," She whined, pouting her lip.

I took out her short ponytails and sighed.

"Sorry Yelena, You can sleep with me tomorrow night," I told her.

"Okay," She sniffled, hugging her rabbit that was bigger than her body.

"Goodnight, Yelena," I said, walking out and turning the light off.

"Goodnight, brother," She answered.

I closed the door and walked away with my hands in my pockets.

I walked down the stairs to see my father walk through the door with Adrian and his Sister.

"Yo Adrian, what's your sister doing here?" I questioned.

"Hello to you too, son," My father sighed.

He expected a 'Hi' from me after he missed his own daughter's birthday.

As if he didn't care for her at all.

I scoffed.

"She's here because your father and my father have made a decision," Adrian responded.

"And what is that?" I asked.

"You and Adri are going to get married when you take over the position as boss," My father replied.

"Why can't I choose my own wife?" I questioned.

"Because I said so," My father said.

I payed no mind to his irritating answer.
