YELENAS POV:

October Sixth, 2021

Stop sobbing, Yelena.

This isn't something we have time for.

Shut up whore, I'm in a state of mourning.

Hurry up.

I got up the next day and exfoliated my body parts in the shower.

I came out of the shower, did my hair and makeup, then dressed in a black dress with cleavage in the back.

I had no idea what I was doing, but I grabbed my purse and walked out the door.

I didn't know where to go on a Monday in this dress, so I walked to the nearest club.

I was halfway there when I noticed three black suvs approaching from behind.

I kept walking despite their protests.

I arrived at the Club and drank until I was completely drained.

I made a new friend also.

Her name escaped me, but she was pleasant to be around.

We danced until our feet ached all night long.

I danced on a beautiful man with dark hair and blue eyes.

He volunteered to walk me home because it was late.

I'd entirely forgotten that my mom had passed away only a few hours before.

We strolled into a dark alley after exiting through the rear door.

A loud gunshot interrupted my attempt to inquire for his name.

He was groaning and sweating on the floor as I turned to look at him.

"Oh my gosh!" I exclaimed.

I screamed and leapt back.

Four men in suits emerged from the alley's darkness and fog and walked towards me.

My first thought, was to run.

I instantly removed my heels and began sprinting. They began chasing after me.

I dashed as quickly as I could in search of some kind of assistance.

I cut myself jumping over a metal fence.

I saw cars and hurried towards them.

An SUV came to a halt when it noticed that I was in distress.

I knelt to gather my breath and looked up to see three men dressed in identical black suits exit the car.

I stood there waiting for them to approach before deciding to fight back.

I was able to get two down but the last one was just too strong.

The man in the suit picked me up and put a cloth over my nose and mouth.

I completely blacked out.

_____

I woke up to be in a pitch-black room.

I couldn't see anything.

A man came in, he looked like he was about 6'5.

I was tied to a chair so that I couldn't move.

"You put up quite the fight, princess." The man said in a thick Italian accent.

Before I got the chance to say anything smart, another man walked in.
