I have been all over my country, yet I find no place to call my home. I have been in multiple relationships, yet find no one to call my own. I have asked myself the question of why this is? Multiple times during my life.
No place nor person will create happiness if we don't find happiness within ourselves first. We can be with as many people as we desire, different sexualities, and different backgrounds, but if we can't be happy with ourselves when sitting alone in a room, then we will never be happy or fulfilled with someone else.
We can live in a mansion or a cottage, no place will give us peace of mind if we don't find peace within ourselves first.
Find yourself, find what makes you happy, find who you are, and then go out and find the rest. Everything around you will fall into place if you know who you are and what creates comfort within you.
We can't expect someone or somewhere to fill the gaps inside us if we are the ones that keep on creating those gaps because we don't know who we are, if we don't know where we belong, if we don't know what makes us happy.
Stay alone for a couple of months or even years if you have to, see what happens, maybe you just find yourself along the way.
