It was your first day of community college you were nervous and dreading all of your classes. You start to walk to the entrance of the school. There was the dean the principal of the school. He was giving a very awful speech, which you ignored and kept walking.
For most of the day you were in your own world. You stared off and day dreamed until lunch you sat by yourself not wanting to talk to anyone. You pulled out your headphones and listened to music.
When lunch was over you walked around the halls to find your next class.
After your Spanish class ended you realize how much you hated Spanish. You were walking out of the class going to leave until you were stopped by a boy. He had dark hair and brown eyes "I noticed we have Spanish together and I was wondering if you wanted to be apart of a study group." He says "Why not!" You answer with a smile "Cool the group meets in the library at 4." He says before walking away
When school ends you honestly consider skipping the group study and going home, until the same boy walks up to you again. "Hey are you coming?" "Yeah." I reply walking with him. On the way to the meeting spot we both tell each other are names and exchange phone numbers. His name is Abed.
We get to the meeting spot and I sit next to a guy with a receding hairline and a weird shirt with black and red sweat pants. We all tell each other are names. When it gets to my turn Troy's eyes go wide "Y/N I thought you'd be in a city college, what're you doing here?" He asks
Troy and I weren't exactly friends but he helped me with bullies and I helped him with his grades so he could stay in sports. I sent him a letter when he got hurt. I felt bad, worried if he'd take care of himself.
"Plans changed." I said trying not to sound depressing "You two know each other?" Jeff asks with a surprised look "Yeah we went to the same school along with Annie." I say giving her a smile. "Yeah Y/N helped me with my grades, and Annie was addicted to pills." Troy says, I mentally scream. "Hey you try being addicted to pills!" Annie yells. Crap. "Can we study?" Britta cuts in.
Jeff goes on about us I don't pay attention until he gets to me. "And Y/N you're probably very good at homework, that's what we need!" Some how I don't find his words comforting I roll my eyes.
"Okay well it's been fun but I'm going to go home. If you guys want I can study tomorrow. If you need anything Abed has my phone number." I say as I walk out
I change for bed and brush my teeth I lay down and see a notification on my phone, I open it.
Unknown: Hey Y/N it's troy
Y/N: Hey Troy do you need something?
Troy: I just wanted to thank you for the card
Y/N: Oh it was no problem
Troy: You free tomorrow I need help with math
Y/N: I can stay after the group leaves to study with you
Troy: Okay cool thanks I owe you
Y/N: Alright see you tomorrow good night
Troy: Sleep well
