Chapter 50: Grand entrance

Lalisa got ready very slowly, taking time to style her hair and then stopping to have some food in between.

By the time she was done with her make up, she had about an hour left to the event.

When she went to the other room to get her dress, she was stunned by the clothes that was hanging back there.

Where the tear had been previously, her mother had filled the whole place to where the flowing gown stopped with knitted roses. Using a cream wool and some highlights with pink, it was like a white and pink rose.

It not only made the flaw disappear, it made the whole dress way more attractive and more fitting to her age. Since the whole top gave off a regal look, anyone that saw the full image would immediately not feel like she was someone beyond her age.

She smiled and picked up the dress not wanting to wake her mom that had dozed off on the sofa in the living room.

Just as she finished dressing, her phone rang and Rosè’s name popped up on her screen.

“Are you on your way already? Hanbin just got here.” She asked hurriedly. From her tone, one could spot her anxiety very easily and Lalisa’s brows furrowed slightly.

“What’s the matter? Should I stay back?”

“No No! Please my goddess you have to come and show this ladies how it’s done!” Rosè hurriedly said.

Back in her home, she looked at the elegantly dressed ladies that were trying to steal the spotlight from her own party.

She couldn’t wait to see the look on their faces when they meet Lalisa.

After ending the call, Rong Yue went downstairs and was surprised to see Driver Yu in front of a luxurious black Mercedes which was a far car from the regular sedan he usually drove to drop her in school.

“The young master upstairs said you needed a ride to a party, he asked me to use his car to drive you there.” He said respectfully. Previously, his tone with her had been familiar and polite but now, the huge leap made Lalisa raise her brows.

She looked around and then nodded as she got into the car. It was not hard for her to figure out that it was Jungkook, after all, not only had she not met anyone here, he was the only she had told about going over for a banquet.

After giving him the address that Rosè had given her, she took her time to look at the interior of the car.

‘This is why money is so good!’ She exclaimed internally as she felt the plush leather in the car. The car was delicately designed and even the interior was designed in a way that she could easily lean back and rest without feeling cramped.

Somehow, the car made her reevaluate Jungkook. Was this man some top underdog in the capital?

Although this car wasn’t a limited edition, as someone that was familiar with the highlight of car releases, she could immediately tell that this car had been custom made from small details.

Also, the color blend was clearly not from the color code that Mercedes made their car in. To let someone else use a car like that, it simply meant that it didn’t mean as much to him as it would mean to a proper heir.

Or did the Big Bad Wolf want to impress her?

Seeing her thoughts moving in a different direction, she immediately kept them back in check and closed her eyes for some minutes.

“Miss. We are here already.” Driver Yu’s voice interrupted her short name, jolting her awake slowly.

“Thank you.” Lalisa said politely as she took a good look at where the car had parked.

Perhaps because it was just a welcoming banquet,  Rosè had previously informed her that the banquet was at her house. But looking at the mansion in front of her, she felt like she just got a type of eye opener.

This had to be why no one dared to offend Rosè in school after all, they could remove like three of Yerim’s home from the small estate in front of her.

“I’ll be here to take you back.” Driver Yu told her as she opened the door and Lalisa nodded gratefully to him while the image of Jungkook in her mind warmed up immediately.

Instead of going in directly, she called Rosè and informed her that she was outside already.

“I’m going immediately!” The girl replied excited and ended the call.

Hanbin, who was calmly looking around smiled gently when he saw Rosè running out of the hall.

As the young mistress of the Sun Family, she was extremely precious but because of their family background, her training was also a lot more rigorous than other girls when it came to maintaining her image which made her extremely good in almost everything other than her studies.

He could easily guess that Lalisa was the one that came from her reaction.

It was really impressive that she would decide to be close friends with someone Lalisa who was not part of the elite family at all.

The moment Rosè saw Lalisa, her mouth fell open in surprise.

‘My goddess!’

“You look even beautiful than I imagined in my head.” She exclaimed in surprise, her eyes gleaming brightly.

This was beauty!

Pure beauty!!

Lalisa chuckled as she saw her expression.

“You are overreacting, you look really stunning also. I almost didn’t recognize you when you walked out.” She complimented.

With how she acted in school, Lalisa hadn’t expected that this was how gorgeous Lalisa she would look. Carefully dressed up, she looked even prettier than Yerim’s photo shoot pictures.

Rosè blushed at Lalisa compliment as she grabbed her hand.

“Some girls have been strutting around and being an eyesore all night, you have to show them what real beauty is when we get inside.” Rosè pleaded while using her exclusive puppy eyes on Lalisa.

“There’s no need, just you is enough to crush them.”

Like these both girls talked and teased each other until they got to the entrance.

“I’ll enter first.” Rosè said rushing inside so that Lalisa could get her stage to herself.
